By that, I mean is someone ELSE going to be the ramrod of it so the rest of us can play and enjoy it?

It is picking against the spread.

If you miss Thursday night's game, don't let that keep you from playing the rest of the week. Picks can be made up to five minutes before the game starts.

Yes, sorry, it is 54472. I set it where we can pick 5 minutes before any game, so you'll only miss the Miami/Pittsburgh game if you get in before Sunday.

Remember, it IS against the spread.

I don't think you can do that now that the first game is played. I joined my brother's league after last night's game and couldn't fill in that spot.

Hopefully, we won't have to deal with those tiebreakers anyway.

I wish I'd thought of doing this LAST week, but . . .

5/7 of the picks above got the very first game wrong! Congrats GH and Absorbentishe! You correctly predicted that Culpepper woould choke in the 4th quarter......

I'm questioning my sanity in making it picks against the spread!

Although in another league, it's straight up and I'm not doing too well. I don't keep up with football too much until after baseball season is over.

If so, make sure you get your picks in "on time". Even if they are in before the actual game takes place, but maybe not in accordance with the laws set forth by the governing powers, your picks won't count.

Just a heads up for any newcomers; to avoid becoming bitter like me.
