Barcelona European Champions

IMO they are the best in the world and finally have proved themselves to be the best in Europe. No more underachieving.

Maybe a good omen for the Spanish national squad in the WC.

Hard luck to Arsenal, but Lehman cost them the game. The ref was muck and IMO did everything possible to give the game to Arsenal (Eboue's blatant dive, and not giving Barca the goal when advantage should have been played).

Henry missed too many chances, but I feel no pity for the arrogant and bitter prick. His post match comments were a tad unprofessional to say the least.

The sending off ruined the game really as Arsenal were always going to sit back and soak up pressure. The better team won in the end though.

Belletti with his first ever goal for the club and what a time to get it. Fantastic.

Viva Barca!

The ref did everything possible to give them the game - yet forced Arsenal to play with 10 men for most of the match? Hmmm. Was this the ref who was caught wearing a Barca jersey a couple days before the match or did they replace him with some other Barca supporter?

;)

That was a linesman.

Lehman was the last man and made a professional foul on Eto'o. He had to be sent off that's the rules. He should have actually played the advantage awarded the goal and then gone back and sent him off.

Actually, the ref even admits he blew the call, and should have just awarded the goal but kept the sides even at 11.

All I know is that I got home in time for Barcelona's two goals. :)

I know yeah, a bit of discretion and common sense would have helped. He was completely overwhelmed by the event and if anyone on the pitch choked on Wednesday night it was the ref.
