I know there isn't a lot of football here, but congrats to Liverpool for winning the FA Cup today over West Ham in a thrilling come from behind match.

For those not in the know about English football, this is a competition where every pro team in the land (including semi-pro sides) compete against one another in a knockout competition. Lose, and you go home, at any point of about 9 rounds.

Imagine the situation in baseball, where the local semi-pro team made up of guys who work at the hardware store part time (think less than A ball) could potentially knock off the New York Yankees, that's the sort of open competition it is.

Anyway, well done lads!

I was disappointed to see West Ham lose... they're my favorite FA league team. But it WAS an exciting match, it just sucks to see my team go down like that.

I mean, what kind of goalie stops TWO penalties. Ridiculous.

As a Man U fan I just hate the fact the Liverpool walked away with some silverware AGAIN!

Was a great game and Stevie G's equaliser at the death was amazing.
Reina's save at the death of ET when he tipped it onto the post was possibly even better.
West Ham didn't stand a chance when it came to penos though.

Notice the difference between Sheringham's peno against Liverpool and the one against Spurs in the league? I'm 100% certain he was trying to miss on purpose against Spurs.
