East Starters:
Dwyane Wade Allen Iverson LeBron James Jermaine O'Neal Shaquille O'Neal East Reserves: Chauncey Billups Richard Hamilton Paul Pierce Rasheed Wallace Ben Wallace Vince Carter Chris Bosh East Coach: Flip Saunders West Starters: Steve Nash Kobe Bryant Tracy McGrady Tim Duncan Yao Ming West Reserves: Tony Parker Ray Allen Shawn Marion Elton Brand Dirk Nowitzki Kevin Garnett Pau Gasol West Coach: Avery Johnson I think the East has this one in the bag unless Kobe scores 155.

Too bad this game isn't what it used to be. It's a total exhibition, whereas back in the day, you actually wanted to watch it 'cause there was pride at stake.

Jermaine O'Neal is out due to injury -- Rasheed Wallace to start at the 4. Four Pistons in the game -- Flip Saunders has said that he will play all four at once, love it. Tayshaun Prince should be there, too. Over the last few games especially, nobody from Detroit has played better than Prince. Shaq gets in by being Shaq -- his numbers are down this year. He's in mothballs til the playoffs. Miami lost to Dallas by almost 40 last night - with Shaq playing. Nice D! I would have liked to see KG start over TMac as well. KG should have a lifetime appointment as a starting all-star as far as I'm concerned. I'd start Shawn Marion over TMac without hesitation. Would like to see Carmelo Anthony instead of Ray Allen or Pau Gasol. Good to see Kobe starting -- hope he drops 50. I agree with LeBron, Iverson, Wade, Nash all starting. Bosh is an exciting player too. East by 6. MVP...Billups or Bryant. Last edited by powerclown; 02-10-2006 at 12:55 PM.. |
