Martina Hingis - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Just curious to see if anyone else enjoys tennis here, along with the incredible comeback of Martina Hingis. It was a great and pleasant surprise when I started watching the Aussie Open this year to find out that Hingis was returning, as she's been my favorite player ever since I began watching tennis back in high school. I hadn't heard the news before that point. So far she's rolled thru her first three matches with surprising ease. It would be awesome if Anna Kournikova returned and her and Hingis began playing as a doubles team again. Then again, I have heard that Hingis and Daniela Hantuchova are also considering becoming a doubles team, which would be pretty cool as well. Apparently they are very good friends, so that always helps with matches and communciation. Anyway, just wanted to throw it in and see if anyone else enjoyed watching and/or playing tennis.

I watched Sharapova and Hantuchova (I think it was her) match yesterday. I kept thinking Hantuchova was Sharapova. She's super hot.

Then I saw Hingis and she hasn't lost much either. I like her hair longer. Especially because it covers her mammoth forehead.

I'm surprised she is doing so well so soon. The game has moved to such a power game in her absence.

Martina has been playing mixed doubles and winning in the last few years. So she thought 'why not return to singles?' So she did. I was surprised to see her go three sets with Kim. She's wonderful to watch. Has such a variety of shots.

Sharapova lost to Henin. Henin will win.

Australian Open is the best televised tennis on tv. Wish Wimbledon and US Open would take notes in that they show us a variety of players and not just the #1's over and over again.

was a shame to see her lose but i think she did very well for a first grand slam back, and she won the doubles (i think?)
