Does anyone else NEVER get "Whiskey Dick"?
 

I guess that is kind of a vulgar term for it.......but I've had many of my male friends complain that after a few (or more than a few :p ) alcoholic beverages they cannot perform at all. Some of the guys who've complained to me are in their very early 20's too.


I am someone who drinks regularly (not every day or anything, but several times a month), and has NEVER had that issue. The issue that I do have is that, after 6-10+ drinks it takes me a very long time to orgasm. However, I have zero issues keeping an erection in the meantime. :confused: Seriously, if I drink a fair amount, I can basically wear myself out having sex and never have to worry about having an orgasm before I want to. From the limited discussions I've had with male friends, it seems that when they have "alcohol issues" during sex, it's a lack of ability to keep it up. :confused:

Just curious what the general consensus here is. Like I said, I've NEVER, ever had a time I couldn't perform, no matter how much I've drank (a few times it's been a LOT). My only issue (which isn't necessarily always a bad thing :D ) is it taking much longer to orgasm.

I'm the same as you. I've been so drunk I can't stand, but I always manage to get it up if I need to.

Honestly out of my group of friends, I only know of one that has had that problem, but he has screwdrivers for breakfast so I'm pretty sure it isn't just because he's too drunk at the time, rather that he's drinking entirely too much all the time.

My boyfriend NEVER gets "whiskey dick." Ever. Even with mono. I was proved wrong.

I've known two guys who couldn't perform while ass-drunk, and I've known two guys who could--one of them being my current SO.

If I start drinking my woman is cut off from sex that night. I don't get horny when I drink.

So, I simply stay sober and let the old ball 'n chain drink up. She gets horny when she drinks. It works out well for both of us.

Whiskey Dick for the win! If i'm that drunk I probobally shouldn't be having sex anyway. But yeah that definitly happens to me.

The only time I drank past a buzz and into a drunk, sex was the furthest thing from my mind. I won't be going back there again, trust me.

I have only gotten whiskey dick once, when I had only been drinking for a short time. I was extremely drunk, as was my girlfriend. We were making out in my bed and I got up to go piss. I was kinda freaked out that I didn't have a boner from our make out session, and I couldn't get it up.. Luckily when I got back from the bathroom she had passed out already.

Now when I get drunk I get really horny and can still get it up no matter how drunk I am.

Typically we'd end up losing clothes at the front door and jump each other by the time we made it to the room. Alcohol is lovely for my libido. I am just a happy, horny drunk... what can I say? :suave:

Can always get it up and in... only problem is the sex can last all night.

Can you imagine all the trouble I could have avoided had my dick quit working when I had too much to drink? But as it is...

I think I'm just a whiskey dick queen, if you must call it. The past couple of 'rendevous' haven't been that great. They both were suffering of this disappointing, yet a total crack-up, circumstance. I used to date a guy that was just like you.... he could just keep going..... and going..... and going. Kind of like the Energizer Bunny, ya know? It was hot to me, but then again I just really like sex. Hmmmmm ?????

Only been drunk a few times and had sex. All of which, I've performed better in sex than the last.

I think I should get drunk more often.

I hear ya. Gettin it up is easy enough. It's just hard to orgasm when you can't really feel anything from the neck down. Hell, I have trouble feeling my face when i'm drunk.It's like silly putty.

I never have a problem getting it up while intoxicated, but I do seem to pass out soon after orgasm. The last few lady friends didn't appreciate that so much.

I seem to do okay when drunk, though I do take longer to orgasm than usual after I've had a few. I get plenty horny when drunk, so I've had the opportunity to explore said physiological effects pretty thoroughly.

I've heard of the same thing, but never experienced it. Just wish I could find a way to throw that into conversation with random_chick_at_bar_03... ;)

Seriously though... I go for-EVER if I'm drunk. In fact, my ex had to refuse to continue twice because she was getting sore. But she enjoyed the hell out of the other times!

Sex is great when I'm just buzzing..inibitions gone and all that ..but past the buzzing stages into drunkeness if I attempt to have sex its pretty hard to finish and it becomes an exercise in frustation,

I've had a few awkward moments explaining "well when I drink..." Sometimes I know I can go and go and I will enjoy it for what it is but I tend to focus too much on feeling something and it messes me up

I am attracted to females when I am drunk, but I rarely get a hard on and can definitely see myself having "whiskey dick" if I were to try to fuck while being drunk.

I used to have this problem when i smoked...now i can drink a keg worth and still get up/off, because I smoked...so if you're smoking...quit. I think its more Whiskey/marlboro dick for me.

Don't get whiskey dick, but like others have said, I can't orgasm when drunk. I just don't feel anything. I don't much like it though, if I'm that drunk, my body doesnt usually like all that movement anyways :lol:

From my understanding of the term, it refers to either not being able to maintain an erection or not being able to orgasm properly.

Personally I've had both happen to me.

It's a fine line between buzzing and being drunk for me. That one extra drink can turn my performance from "can get it hard but can't orgasm for a long time" to "can't even get it up long enough for any kind of worthwhile sex". Alcohol slows blood flow down, so maintaining an erection is quite an exercize when feeling's cut down 80%. Women have the advantage of feeling randy and just letting it happen.

Bottom line, I don't drink when I want to get laid.

If i drink a lot then I can seem to keep it up forwever. However, if I drink more than a lot and into the excessive zone sex is the furthest thing from my mind, so i've never tried when i'm that drunk.

Usually I'm more concerned about finding a place to sleep or throwing up.

never a problem here! <grin>. I am in the same boat as a lot of the guys here. It always works, but getting to the finish line takes some doing!

it's usually only on repeat occasions in the same night when i'm drunk.

when i'm stoned i can't ever orgasm easily, and i usually last for about 45 minutes or more in that case, if not longer.

Yeah, as others have said I can get and stay hard, but I'll never finish after more then a few beers.

I always thought of it as natural birth control for stupid one night stands.

I believe it is for hops component in beer that contributes to impotence.

i never have a problem with the erection, and it doesn't slow down my orgasm time either
