Alright, so the guy who posted this was immediately banned, game over, thread was locked, etc.

But after reading it (Since I like seeing why things get locked...) it sparked my fancy as to what the actual answer was to the question:

Being a female, I LOVED climbing the rope when I was a kid. I also liked doing pull-ups really slowly... it felt really good down there.

I didn't realize why I liked it so much then, until 20 years later when my bf started making me cum from oral sex... and I discovered that the orgasms were much stronger when I held onto something (like the headboard) and pulled myself "up" a bit, contracting those lower abdominal muscles in exactly the same way as I did when I was a kid, climbing up a rope.

What's more surprising is that all you people could climb the rope. I never had to do it in gym, and in movies the rope seems really high. So i'm going to assume I wouldn't of been able to do it back in the days of gym.

Slightly off topic: rope climbing is not that difficult, thought you do need to either be light or in decent shape. If neither of those apply, then a little know how helps. if you wrap your feet around the rope so that the rope makes a U under one foot then you can practically hang indefinitely from the middle of the rope. It is when you try to power your way to the top using only your arms ( or when you let go with one hand trying to tag a knot/bell ) that your feet dont provide enough friction to keep you from sliding. It's late now and I've had to spell correct every third word. Laters.....

Interestingly, most of the guys are talking about how they could or couldn't climb the rope. Sorry that you felt inferior in those lowly junior high gym days, but that's not the OP's question here. I'm curious about how many people got off from climbing the rope (or doing other abdominally-straining exercises). Is it just a female thing? Or did a lot of women just never climb the rope, either? Man, I loved climbing that thing... it was my favorite day in gym class, mostly because of the semi-orgasm it produced.

A few women have told me they can orgasm by clenching their legs together or tensing their lower muscles. For men the pleasure centre is located in the prostate. In rope climbing, unless you are doing kegels, you will not duplicate this feeling.

The Wayne's World reference has more to do with physically rubbing your penis against the rope (a stiff wind is enough to make a teenage boy "feel kinda funny").

Thanks for bringing up a major source of embarassment in jr high... Luckily I thinned out over the years and by age 21 could zoom up a 50 foot rope in about 8 seconds using arms only.

My brother had a male dog that would get overly excited while playing catch. He would start dripping his "stuff" (the dog, not my brother). It was really gross. That's how I felt when doing some that gymnastic stuff in jr high. The weirdest thing I had to do was straddle a high bar, which was about 4 feet off the ground, and try to spin around. I liked climbing the rope but that was partly because it was one of the activities that I was better at. Also I LOVE being up high. I actually hung around up at the top enjoying the view a couple times till the instructor yelled at me to get down.

I never noticed a "good" sensation. I know I was grinning but it was mostly the glow of success and the pleasure of the height.

Climbing the rope wasn't part of my high school curriculum, so I didn't do it in a gym class. But when I worked as a climbing instructor it was one of the obstacles. I was the designated 'demo guy', which meant I'd tie in and demonstrate proper technique on various climbing elements, as well as demonstrating a fall, while my belayer explained exactly what was going on (it always made me think of Penn and Teller for some reason).

In short, I climbed that bloody rope hundreds of times. I don't remember any undue excitement coming out of it and nobody ever mentioned anything to me. Mind, if it did er.. make them happy I suppose they wouldn't really menion it to the instructor, especially not the surly-looking one. So I guess it's just different for everyone.

Never climed a rope in gradeschool... went to a VERY small school, so no budget for a gym... we just played football/kickball/soccer outside.

Well, that's a first. "Rope humping." I've heard of a lot of stuff, but fucking a piece of rope never occurred to me. I can say that I've never had this experience, but my first thought is "ooeey. stop it - it burns, it burns." I suppose if I had an inny and not an outy, maybe it'd be different?

I've always been a fairly big guy, and I dont' think i've been able to do ONE pull-up in my whole life... but I LOVED climbing the rope. Still not sure how I could do one and not the other, but it does use the muscles differently.

Just to keep this thread going a little longer...

Last night I asked 3 married (and one single) women about the rope orgasms or the crunches orgasm thing...

They laughed me to scorn. They thought I was full of shit. They all said it does not happen. (Not to discredit you, Abaya. I'm just relaying what was said.)
One problem is that they were in a room full of husbands and friends and I seriously doubt any one of them would have been willing to stick their neck out and say "yes, I orgasmed from rope climbing". So there's that, but I still don't think that it happened to any one of them. Sheesh, I have to admit: it happened to me too. It was two distinct feelings, one while going up the rope, and the other while sliding down. Going up, I think the other posters' comments about abdominal muscles applied: you're tensing up muscles in your abs, hips, and legs that are in some way tied to the process of sexual tension/release. Add to that a possibility of some friction from the rope and there you have it: that "funny feeling" from Wayne's World. I can see girls getting this to a lesser extent than guys (I am a guy).

On the way down, it was pure friction which happened to catch me in just the right position. The question is, does *this* part happen to females? Their nether regions, shall we say, are a bit more protected than guys', so I would think what might look like very direct rope-to-erogenous zone contact might be nothing at all.

feetla90 Upright	Um, yep, me too. Sheesh, I have to admit: it happened to me too. It was two distinct feelings, one while going up the rope, and the other while sliding down. Going up, I think the other posters' comments about abdominal muscles applied: you're tensing up muscles in your abs, hips, and legs that are in some way tied to the process of sexual tension/release. Add to that a possibility of some friction from the rope and there you have it: that "funny feeling" from Wayne's World. I can see girls getting this to a lesser extent than guys (I am a guy). On the way down, it was pure friction which happened to catch me in just the right position. The question is, does this part happen to females? Their nether regions, shall we say, are a bit more protected than guys', so I would think what might look like very direct rope-to-erogenous zone contact might be nothing at all. We had to climb rope in middle school and I do remember having SOME kind of a feeling closely related to stimulation of some sort. Basically anything that required me to clench my abs... climbing ropes, poles, and even doing pull-ups (not even requiring contact down there... just the clenching).
