So what are some of your stories about playing dress up? My Significant other is having problems with the hole concept. I tell my SO that its to add to the pleasure but they still won't do it. So what is everyone's take on playing dress up?

Hmmm, we all have in our heads these ideas about right and wrong. About sexual ideas of what we feel is acceptable and what makes someone a 'pervert' and 'sick'.

I've had girlfriends wear their school uniforms! I've had them wear whatever I asked while others I just knew would have hated me for suggesting such things.

What are you asking or suggesting they wear?

The school uniform dressers were both short and slim. I teased them saying they looked like a schoolgirl (this was not the first date!). They both loved being teased about looking so young and cute. A trip to their wardrobe and hehe yes there it is.
I said I would wear anything reasonable in return.
Don't let this become an obsession. All women want you to fancy/love them for who they are not what they wear.

Fantasy play can be a great change of pace. Remember that fantasy you had about your teacher? Get your S/O to dress up and *act* the part. The dressing up is only half the fun. ;)

Here's a key: you have to make sure that she knows that you still love her, and that the dress-up isn't because you are secretly interested in someone else. She probably fears that. No more advice than that from me, really; roleplaying doesn't do it for me.

EDIT: Ah, I remember where I heard something similar. I subscribe to the podcast Fetish Flame. From their website, give a read to the article To tell... or not to tell, and then for your SO's perspective, Help, my partner has a fetish! Read them, and perhaps print them out for her.

Dress-up for me usually just involves getting into something sexy long enough to get thoroughly turned on (and have the desired effect on ratbastid or D) and then getting right back out of it :) For instance, a corset, a slutty little miniskirt, a couple of strategically-tied scarves, or my Princess Leia slave bikini. It's a way to act out a fantasy, either of mine or of theirs. If dressing up or role playing doesn't feel sexy for your SO, though, then maybe it's not the kink for him/her. What is the objection they've voiced?

Lurkette speaks the truth (ratbastid must be rubbing off on her). Some people just aren't into some things. It's possible that the idea of roleplaying just doesn't appeal to your so, in which case you may just need to take it as given that that's never going to be part of your sex life.

well thats very offtopic unless she is wearing said slave skirt at the time and if so do you make home videos? I mean yes good times (looking innocent right now)....

that said my current gf was almost immediatly trying to figure out what I wanted to do for the fantasy routine, and quite frankly i'm aquisent at best about the whole thing. And while i will do as told (there is a reason my member is named "yes ma'am") I dont find it perticularly thrilling, not offputting but not thrilling either. I am not understanding the thrill and I think she suggested it cause she belives all men hold some ideal fantasy deep down (it sounds like an idiot thing to think but I have evidence). In other words what lurkette said.

I think its totally hot. I actually was helping out a friend of mine in that department. It was fun thinking up some ideas to go with. I think it not only adds 'fire' to a relationship, but its just interesting. I've yet to experience such a thing, but I can't wait! My friend was putting together a school girl, principal thing... Very fun. I loved it. Shopping around for the most smutty, yet hot outfit we could find. Talk about good times!

I'm curious now...how exactly do teachers dress?

Generally a button down shirt, a nice longer skirt, cute glasses, hair up - or at least that's how my girlfriend dresses at work ... and in bed :thumbsup:
