Frenum Piercing and Anal Sex- Go or no go?
Short question: Is anal sex still possible/adviseable with a frenum piercing (or three
![]() Background: I had my frenum done over a year ago when I wasn't seeing anyone, and got good reviews from the girls I was with with it before it healed out. My fiance never got a chance to experience it, however, and so I've been thinking of getting it redone, possibly with a few additional ones for good measure. My question is, is that going to cross anal sex off the option menu for us? Just for a while? I assume that, at best, I'd have to use a condom until it healed, and at worst, I'd find out that sphincters are strong enough to damage themselves/me on a barbell. Anyone with a frenum still have anal sex with no difficulties? Anyone had problems, or talked to their piercer about it? Thanks in advance for the info! -twisted

I may be wrong, but speaking as a guy that has had frenums in the past I see two problems.
1. Its tight. Its so tight, odds are if you have decent gauge piercings that are big enough not to tear during normal sex, they are probably gonna catch and pull or tear if you go wild. 2. Health factor. Even if you wrap it, theres a possibility of a tear, especially with a pierced dick. The frenum piercing creates a little pocket in your skin for the barbell to sit. Imagine if something nasty got in there while you were going hot and heavy, maybe tore a little and you got a nasty infection. I'm not saying not to, just be carefull and be ready for anything.

The Association of Piercing Professionals (http://www.safepiercing.org/FAQ.html) would probably have some sex-positive advice on this one. If you can't find anything on their site, I think I have their handbook on CD around here somewhere.

For those who have never been with someone who's pierced there, saying that metal there is disgusting is really not helpful. I understand that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but if a question's being asked and you have no experience in the matter, just don't say anything. I'm not trying to be a bitch, I'm just saying it as someone who's EXPERIENCED a frenum.
My fiance pierced himself about a month before we hooked up for the first time; I have never liked genital piercings, and haven't been with many people, so it took a little while to get used to. The only reason why I would advise against anal sex is IF the condom were to rip, the bacteria found inside the anus could potentially cause an infection. It's the same reason why it's advised to change a condom after anal sex if you want to switch to vaginal penetration. If you're willing to chance the condom breaking, go for it. I would just say make sure she's completely lubricated, and warm her up a bit with your fingers to make it a little easier on her; it'll definitly be a tight ft the first few times, so don't be surprised if she's slightly pained.

Hmm, I guess it's possible that it could be done safely, but as has been mentioned, there's a VERY good chance the fistula (tunnel the piercing goes through) could get torn. And yeah, that's something I wouldn't really wanna experience.
It could be a really good experience for the both of you, but it could also have some not-so-great consequences. I'd say be careful. For you, take it easy until you're sure that everything's gonna be okay with the piercing (and of course wear a condom) and for her, get some lube and get her VERY warmed up first.

hmmm, excellent question, and i'm glad you're thinking of this Before getting caught up in the moment.
I did a google search and came up with allot of different sites of advice. Most sugest always using a condom to prohibit infection of the piercings, especially during the first six months and using smaller gauge jewerly when engaging in anal play and lots and lots of lube. So, i would keep doing some research with your partner before giving it a try, you could also speak about it with the individual who is doing the piercing, i'm sure he/she would have some good advice as well. Good luck! ![]() Sweetpea

Thanks for the replies, guys and gals--until I talk it over more with her, I'm just gonna get a pubic surface piercing done above the base of the penis...I hear it is good for clitoral stimulation and won't interfere with extravaginal activities.
