Anal lube?
 

What does everyone reccommend for anal lube? Toys and such. I have KY Warming gelly and it has a sort of burning sensation when I use it, that I'm guessing is from the warming portion of it, making it too uncomfortable to use. What does everyone reccommend for anal play?

Probably more important than the lube is the attitude of the luber and the lubee ...
For effective ( meaning getting the results of pleasure that you want, in such a way that you can get similar enjoyable results over, and over again ) anal erotic play, trust, patience, more trust, MORE patience AND combined with lots and lots of 'KY Ultra Gel' ( avail @ Walmarts ect ) works very well in my experience. haha that doesn't hide much at all does it. My girlfriend has the lube we use (Don't know the name of it) in her bag so her Mum won't see it. Comes in handy when feeling frisky when out and about aswell :)

i use ID for regular sex...I like it WAAAAAAY better than KY or AstroGlide. Although it seems to be not as good once you get down to the last bit...like maybe it dries out and gets sticky or something.

Are you using a condom? If not, you could use an oil based lube, which might be better than a water based (Like KY and Astro and ID).

Got to go with Astro Glide as well.

but I've heard good things about silicon based lubes. (afaik condom-safe, but not silicon-toy safe, am i wrong? )

I suspect that the glycerin in Astrogl. and other common lubes is cause for more of a 'burning' sensation.

Not sure tho, haven't tested my theory.

what would you suggest for just for regular sex? some of the condoms dont have enough lube... and if we switch position in the middle, the lube dries off... so what's the best?

Funny, no one has reviewed the lube on Amazon's site.

Our favorite lube for regular sex is O'My. It's also our favorite for masturbating (hers and mine). It's just so soft and smooth and doesn't dry out or get sticky and you don't have to use a ton. We've tried allll kinds of lube and we agree that it is by far the best.

On the topic of funny lube bottle stories, the first time Sage and I ever had anyone over to our apartment we had to make kind of a mad dash to clean up all of our sex stuff... We got all of the big things but missed the tiny sample bottle of Doc Johnson's Anal Lube that came with a buttplug we had just bought. It was just right out on the counter, and of course it only took our friend a few minutes to see it. We were pretty well mortified until he confessed that he and his girlfriend were into that sort of thing as well. ;)

KY is way to tacky for me when it dries....

Lubes that you can re-activate with your own saliva are my favorite...

Wife and I used KY for a bit.. but its sticky and annoying.. we now use EROS , and it works well .. very well.

Astroglide gets sticky too fast--turns ya into a glue stick. Liquid silk is a personal favorite. Tried a little sampler once, and it far exceeded anything else in the pack, (which was most major brands including Eros).

For anal, I'd want something a little thicker. To be honest, I'd look for something marketed to gay guys. Elbow Grease is great stuff, but it's oil based, so it eats latex.

Correct. You end up with stained, melted, deformed stuff if you use silicone lube on silicone toys.

Take it from a gay guy... KY Jelly is probably the worst you can use... Cuz it'll get too warm and dry up and defeat the purpose for anal.

Try something like "Wet and Wild." That's the brand that a lot of gay guys in NY use. (Trust me. I know from experience)

Contrary to what some have said on here, we mostly use Kyjelly, i like the feel of the kyjelly better than other products. And with anal, making sure the girl is comfortable is very important ;)

I suggest you try a couple different products and see which ones you both like and prefer. With lube, everyone is different.

Astroglide... you can't go wrong with astroglide.

I get that burning sensation too. Whether it's due to the glycering I don't know but it sure is annoying! Thus we just use either spit or ordinary water-based lube :)

We go astroglide all the way... don't really have problems with it getting sticky and if it does, a little spit lubes things back up again.

My wife and I considered anal play, but a little research in her medical books cut that idea short. The thought of wearing depends @50 just didn't appeal, not to mention the increased risk of hemoroids...

Being that I am into anal, the best way I have found to numb thepain for entry is... believeit or not... oragel. try it. it has a 20% base of benzocaine... and is a good numbing agent... and let me tell you, once you get in there, its all on cause you are some what numbed and cant feel thepressurre on entry! :)

Yeah, but make sure your partner wears a condom. I used this stuff from Adam & Eve once called Anal Ease on the wife. I didn't use a condom and lost feeling. I rode her like a drunken sailor in a Phillipino whore house before I got tired and quit.

A friend of mine once used Cocunut Suave Shampoo for anal lube. He does not recommend using it if anything else is availble.

I myself have no experience on this matter.
