I find it easy to shave that area when I am erect. So it takes about half an hour...shave some, look at playboy, shave some, .....continue until smooth

Like many others here I use a Mach 3 and shaving gel and I've only had a slight nick once early on. Always be sure your razor is good and sharp. Dull razors increase the likelihood of nicks.

I shave my balls , sack , what little is on my shaft, and about 2 inches around the area. It defintely improves sensation during sex. However; being italian/armenian , every once in awhile if I dont shave for a day or two I get horrible ingrown hairs.
