I think condoms in our age are more about the partner getting pregnant, opposed to the STD reasoning. People are scared of STD's but they are REALLY SCARED of having a kid.

I've been bad recently and had it a few times. I hadn't had unprotected in about 3 years before recently. I'd forgotten how great it was until after the moment.

I've rarely had protected sex. I've relied solely on her birth control pills.

A. I grew up in the 70's. In those days, if you "caught" something, a shot in the ass would clear it up.

Yes,with a couple girls. Both were on birth control and one had been tested. However, the other was rather promiscuous, and we did it on several occassions. In retrospect, bad decision.

We have one child - so YES.

As for unprotected meaning - condomless - yess but we've both been tested more than once. Otherwise I've always been on the pill except when I got pregnant with our daughter. After this week I won't need pills to prevent pregnancy so protection will only be for disease protection and I won't need that with my hubby.

If your concern is pregnancy, birth control pills are very reliant. So that is not exactly unprotected. I know quite a few of oral contraceptives give up to 99.9% +/- .1 s.d. That it quite abit more effective than most condoms. Of course if herpes is the concern...

To answer the question, no. And parents that do not get their daughters on birth control or teach their boys how to use condoms should be beaten within half an inch of their lives. Parents that pressure/force/allow their 14-16 year old daughters go through with a pregnancy should be beaten that extra half an inch.

I've had plenty of unprotected sex with my ex while we were together.... We were in a committed monogamous relationship for 3 years and 7 months, and we'd both been tested on more than one occasion and turned out disease-free.

Yeah. My girlfriend and I are in a monogamous relationship, and she's on the pill. So yeah, pretty much all the time it's unprotected, at least in terms of condoms.

Same here. So I voted yes. Every form of protection has it flaws and tiny, minute chances that you can get pregnant (which is the only thing I worry about- no STD worry here). The only difference is that with a condom, you know that you enter that risk zone if it breaks. You don't really know if the pill loses any effectiveness. So I suppose with one you can blame pregnancy on a broken condom, and with the other you just go, "Hmm. Shit."

In terms of no protection whatsoever- no pills or shots- no. I have never done that. Too damn risky.

I CANNOT get off with a condom. I feel virtually nothing and can go untill I collapse from exhaustion without ever getting off. It sucks because my wife can't use the pill, and one baby is enough for now...

My first sexual encounter was without a condom. What a way for my gf to break me in... She ended up being late with her period for quite for about 2 months and took a trip to Planned Parenthood. You would think I would learn a lesson from this, but honestly I still have unprotected sex.

Name a stupid, risky sexual behavior and I probably did it during what I think of as my "dark period" which was, oh, roughly the 90's. I was very lucky not to have picked up AIDS or herpes during that time.

Now, well, for obvious reasons it's not an issue.

Before my current girlfriend I wore a condom every time. It just wasn't worth the risk in my mind.

When this one and I first had sex,we went a little wild. I ran out of condoms. I told her that I was out but that I trusted her, she said that she thought I was being silly because she was on birth control anyway. We haven't used one since.

The feeling is so much better without a condom and being with a girl I trust means I don't need one. She's definitely not the type to forget to take the pill and we keep condoms for situations where there might be added risk, for example if she's on antibiotics.

8 out of 100 couples using the pill get pregnant within a year. Most of that can be attributed to a missed pill and the rest is due to antibiotics or some other medication interfering. I trust my girlfriend completely but I did the homework anyway for my own peace of mind and it seems like if a girl gets pregnant on the pill, she's made a mistake. Or at least, that's the consensus I get.

It helps me too knowing that I plan on marrying this girl and we will be having children some day. If she were to get pregnant now, it'd be a blow but we could handle it.

We did use them for a time to avoid pregnancy, now that he's had a vasectomy, it's condom free all the time with no worries
