Kissing and Sex: Can they be disconnected?
 

I recently just got my wisdom teeth (3rd molars) pulled, needless to say but I'll say it anyway, I am on pain medication. As with beer, pain medicine tends to make me a bit horny and any woman I saw that was half decent looking I wanted to jump on and have my way with. There was only one thing that disturbed my full enjoyment of that fantasy, and that was the fact that I knew I could not kiss them or lick them or use my mouth for anything due to its painful condition. This basicly ruined my desire to "get all up on" these women, and then I realized that, for me, if I could not use my mouth in sex, I wouldn't enjoy it very much at all. What do you guys think?

I agree, I can definitely not be into sex with women I know without kissing them. I'm sure if I went to some sort of porno shoot/gang bang/etc. I would not be kissing any woman there. But picking up a women at a bar, or on a date, I cannot see sex happening without kissing.

It's been suggested that some women will fuck you but not kiss you, but I could never have sex with a women who won't kiss me (yes I just contradicted myself).

Sometimes I have sex without kissing my partner. Kissing, to me, can be a very emotionally intimate act, whereas with sex I can completely (and do) divorce the two. However, there are times when I do enjoy kissing, and honestly, I can make out with my current partner for hours if he'll let me :)

As a play on onesnowy: it depends on what kind of action we're talking. "making love" - probably some kissing going on. come home from a bar ripping off clothes in the kitchen down-home fucking - why kiss?

I've had sex both ways and can say that while I prefer to kiss when I have sex it isn't always neccessary.

Sex with no kissing or licking? I don't know. Thats a big part taken out. I enjoy that sometimes more than penetration. I guess I feel more connected. Even if its a local from the bar.

If I am in a relationship, kissing during sex is a must. I absolutely love it. I think kissing is very intimate. So, its not always necessary for me to kiss while having sex with a guy that I really have no feelings for besides lust.

Couldn't do it, partly because according to most of the girls I've been with, the things I do with my tongue are the best part.

I just can't picture sex without using my mouth.
