Unclasping Bras 101
 

Sorry for those expecting a guide, I'm actually just looking for help on this subject. Lately when I'm with girls, I have a very hard time unclasping their bra. Can the ladies or guys out there give me any tips or hints on this? I've only had one girl who's bra came off easily.

All about the lever action...with your left hand only, put your fingers under the end of the tab, and put your thumb where you feel the overlap begin and just rotate out...

I like the left hand, with the pointing finger and thumb clasping the overlaping part, with the middle and ring figer clasping the underlying part. Sorry I didnt draw but you should be able to figure it out (Sorry, a bit drunk atm...).

for a little money at victoria's secret, you should be an old pro in no time.

Looking at the back, assuming that the right side is under the left, hook your index finger under the left side, next to the clasp, lift gently, and squeeze gently and quickly with your thumb to the left of your index finger but on top of the strap, and with your middle and ring fingers on the right side. That's probably more difficult to visualize while reading than while writing, but it works. I won't go into a long explanation of why I figured out how to do this, but in high school, undoing friends' bras (through the shirt as the walked by) was a better way than simple ass-slapping to get back for various antics like ball-grabbing and nipple twisting. Damn, I miss my HS friends.

edit: If you're doing this through a shirt and can't hook the index finger under, twist clockwise a bit as you squeeze the clasp.

i've never been that good at getting em off one handed...i'll haveta remember this thread and read up again before my next oppurtunity for practice...

I have never unhooked a front-clasp bra - that could be amusing doing the smooth one-hand slide up her back and thinking wtf?

Frost clasps are a nightmare.

Not cause you cant get them done... but you look like an idiot reaching for the 1-handed unclasp just to realize its not going to happen.... then since your blood is elsewhere it takes you forever to figure out it's a front clasper.

whatever you do, don't pull it away from her back and peek over her shoulder to try and get it open. i have two tiny scars from when a guy did that and couldn't get it open. he lost his grip.

front-clasp bras are for lazy girls. ;) usually in a backwards-"J" hook. figure out which side has the hook and which has the vertical sleeve. wiggle the hook a little and slide the one side down and *poof* it's open. hint--front clasp bras are smooth in back... slide your hands up and down her back a few times and you should be able to figure out which it is...

i can get mine off one handed and out from under the shirt while driving 80 mph on the interstate without skipping a beat.

I loathe front clasps.

Funny story - I was with my girl, we just got back to my place after a dinner out... naturally things led to my left sliding hand up her shirt and towards where I thought the clasp was. So confident in my abilities, I assumed I had unclasped it, and tried to gently slide it off of her. My mind being not on the work of the hands but elsewhere, I kept trying in both soft and firm tugs for a good five minutes before she let me know it was a front clasp.

The thing is, I still didn't clue in. I kept pulling until she finally gave up on the moment, lifted her shirt, made sure I had visual contact on the elusive front clasp, and jumped over to the other side of the couch.

I am a moron. :|

Ladies, I don't care if the current outfit, or whatever, justifies a front clasp bra. It kills the mood. Please, think of the mood. Please. :lol:

i perfer front clasps cause then when i unclasp it i dont have to move or take the bra off to see/touch/whatever to the boobs cause they are already out. :thumbsup:

but there should be some sort of class (maybe offered to freshman at college?) on removing bra's. im sure that would make it alot easier,....

I had one girlfriend who had those. I was confused the first time my hands went up her back. Got used to them real quick.

When I got with a new girl she only had the normal back clasps. I said to myself... shit, how did I do those again.

But yes, front clasps are harder to do consistently. About one times in five I'll be able to snap them open with one hand and no thought (it's kind of a fold-and-jiggle motion) but usually i'll have to grab each side (with generous knuckle groping) and fold it that way, and then figure out which side slides up and which side slides down. I had to be taught by a patiently amused horny female, though...just find one of those and you're all set :thumbsup:

That is hands-down, the most amusing diagram i've ever seen. :)

honestly if you have a minute and a willing girl, actually take a look at the clasp on the back. If you do it should make sense to you on how to get it off. its pretty obvoius because of the construction of the bra.

Then again, when you're in the moment you don't want to stop and say "hey can I inspect your bra?"

I used to be *very* good at unclasping bras... fronts were a little tricky but not insurmountable.

Unfortunately, I am greatly out of practice... after you have been married this long you don't really find yourself having to grope and unclasp... we are generally speaking already naked when it is time for sex...

On the rare occasion where I get to unclasp... a little voice inside my head cheers, "you've still got it!"

Daoust's unclasping technique.

1. Look owner of bra in the eyes.
2. Keep hands at sides.
3. Ask aforementioned owner to remove bra. Add 'please' if occasion calls for it, or 'bitch' if she likes that.
4. Await drop out.

well sometimes it's also good just to ask for help...

trust me, she's not going to look down on you because you're asking.the fact that you're asking is confirmation enough that you want to take off her bra and that you're not doing it because you think that is what she wants you to do.

it shows respect and women dig that...

unless ofcourse you're lucky the first time round... :thumbsup:

I can do it with one hand. I've tried to explain it to my SO but he doesn't get it ^_^
