What is it about breasts that people like?
 

My company set up a booth in the mall today. It was a lot of fun watching the breasts bounce by. Normally I say that I prefer large breasts because I have large hands... but fuck that -they're all nice.

I also occasionally noticed women (not necessarily gay or bi) checking out other girls breasts. Perhaps they are in competition with them or perhaps they also like to look at breasts.

So what do we like about breasts? Is it even expressible?

Forbidden fruit is yummy.

I don't have breasts, so naturally I am currious about the nature of their being.

Geez... what's not to like?

They're soft - fun to play with - extremely sensitive - and just look plain weird! :)

Fun to play with, and the fact that I'm not allowed to touch them most of the time makes me want to touch them even more.

The breast is a beautiful thing. A pair is more than twice as nice. They have revved my motor since I was, like, 4 years old. I am afraid that beyond making a list of reasons about liking them there is nothing to say - just as basic as liking chocolate, or playing with a kitten. Breasts are among the good things in life. I also like womens legs, bellies, wrists, shoulders . . .

They show me which way to walk....
They're something to play with in the shower
They get me out of traffic tickets (not really, but somewhere some woman got let go because of them)
They're like a permanent set of water balloons.
They make my shirts look better
They're a great place for a partner's mouth to hang out for a while

mommy had them. they were the first things in life to give you comfort. you'll always love them for that.

man, because they give a woman curves and curves are good... it's like driving a fast sports car- it'd be borning if you took it to montana and just went in a straight line... that's why you take it up the coastline and go zooming around those awesome curves....

Other than that...I don't know. I just think the female body, in general, is one of the most beautiful things in the world.

I was actually watching this sex special on TLC (The learning Channel) and it said on there that men are attracted to breasts, larger ones at least, because they are organs that are used to feed and sustain offspring. So if you have a woman that has great breasts or at least largers ones she is more attractive because a man sees a mate that can better provide for children.




But me i just like the softness. :cool:

Actually, I enjoy a womans breasts because of the many different ways they lead to stimulation for my partner. From nipple brushes to aggressive kneeding in the heat of sex.
I also find the form extremely sensual in ways I cannot express, as if something is hardwired into my brain that says, "You Need These"......and who am I to deny what evolution has written into my mind.

Boobies have been sexually selected for as their size is well out of proportion with their function. There is something in the male mind that just likes nice boobies and women have evolved to take advantage of that.

I love their sensitivity--on both the giving and receiving ends. There's no guarantee that a man's nipples will be sensitive or that he'll enjoy having them touched, but 9/10 a woman wants her breasts played with, and I'm happy to oblige. Mostly I go for the "fun to play with" factor--regardless of size.

I like breasts as much when they're hidden behind clothing as when they're not. I love plunging necklines that tease you by showing the space between the breasts, and the luscious curves. I love the way breasts look behind tight tee shirts. I love imagining what kind of bra the woman is wearing, and what their nipples look like. I love the way a woman handles her own breasts, and plays with them. I love the way they bounce. I love the sneak peek when a girl bends over.... Damn, now I'm all hard.

I don't know, saggy breasts aren't that great to look at. :(

Besides the natural biological reasons they are a semi forbidden thing in public, plus they are one of the bigger visible differences between the genders.

LIke a sports car or a model girlfriend, you like em cause all your buddies will hate you when you get yourself a nice pair.

I like my own because they are fun to play with and explore, and have my hubby explore :) They change 'moods' as often as I do, and you have to play around to get it right. I like playing with other breasts because of the reaction, the softness, the 'squishy' factor and the warmth. It's just cool to compare reactions and it's really the only thing on another woman I tend to play with besides maybe a few kisses.

What's there not to like? They bounce. They look cool. They're warm. They respond to touch. They give me something to pay attention to during a conversation :p. (I know... I know... I should start expecting angry PM's for that. It's a joke. Chill.)

However, taking this more seriously, I'd like to put out an idea from The Naked Ape. Basic primates often present themselves to a more dominant individual by essentially turning themselves around and presenting their ass for mounting. Not only is this a dominance thing, but it allows for the sexual gratification of the individual.

However, as humans, our stance is more upright and does not lend itself to the presentation of buttocks as a sexual symbol in the same fashion. We're more suited to present ourselves facing another individual, with the front of our bodies facing them instead of the back. If you'll notice, our species is the only primate with hemispherical breasts, quite possibly adapted as such to retain the sexual symbolism in the female.

This, partnered with the fact that humans are also the only primates with outturned, brightly colored lips (like I have to describe what it is those're supposed to have adapted to look like) could account for why breasts are so awesome. If that's the case, they're amazing on a level that's very basic to us as primates; and not inherently in a male-female sexual sense, as the presentation and mounting are done by lower primates just as often in a dominant-submissive sense as they are in a sexual one.

Just a thought. Even if that's the case, they're clearly awesome on many more levels than just a basic one. Take this one woman I know, for example...
