No-nonsense hooking up online?
 

Hello all. Like many of those who frequent these boards, I am a young, horny guy who is leading a relatively busy life. As a result, I don't have a whole lot of time to hit the bars and search for someone with whom I can have a nice roll in the hay.

I know that I'm about to sound rather...hmm...animal or sex-starved. But I don't care. I've been looking for months for a good, no-nonsense internet site, IRC chatroom, etc. whose one and only goal is to match people for a night of fun.

I know that there are hundreds of matchmaking sites out there, but almost all of them require pay, and most are hokey, unusable, and very clunky. They just aren't very utilitarian. I was wondering if there's some place that I've just not heard about. I've tried craigslist (full of bots), Yahoo!Chat (full of morons), and others, but nothing seems to work.

Has anyone found anything that works? Thanks!

Well there is adult friend finder, but it requires you to pay, I have never used it though.
So I can't really recommend it.

You can join adult friend finder for free, you just don't have access to member profiles. My roommate and I joined just for fun. We just wanted to see if people in our area really would use the site to hook up with people. It works. I received many messages from people with pictures so I could see whatever they wished to send to me. You can chat with people and get them to send pictures to you that way. However, there is no guarantee the picture you receive is the actual person you will end up meeting. I actually ended up making a friend from there with no sex involved.

Yup, you're right about the security issue, nwlinkvxd.

The one great thing about the fact that no site such as this yet exists is that one person could conceivably come up with something new and superior to all current "free matchmaking" sites. If someone did that, there'd be HUGE demand, and I'd imagine that, as word got around the 'net, it'd become THE place for all horny young people around. I've actually thought of doing it myself.

I bet that dating sites follow the same stigma as indie rock bands.

They're great until a lot of people start to hear about them. Then, after you have advertisers and the site's employees making fake profiles long enough, people just plain give up, until that's all that is left.

In my experience, the only no-nonsense, no strings hook-ups you can realistically hope for would be at realdoll.com. Would you really be interested in a stranger who just shows up, has sex, and takes off? In theory it sounds great, in reality sounds a bit like sharing a toothbrush with Tommy Lee.

A couple of years ago there was a site called sensationzone.com. It's now defunct, but when it was active, I think it was either a hoax or a front for a brothel.

Basically, it advertised a co-ed bathouse for men and women to meet anonymously and scew. There was a separate entrance for each sex and a series of rooms without lighting. This sort of thing might fly in Amsterdam, but I can't imagine it would be legal in the US. The website itself was very well designed and talked of plans to expand and even franchise all across North America.

Of course, the real barrier to any of these matching sites is the lop-sided ratio of horny reckless guys to women willing to take the risk.

In europe you can check www.gumtree.com That has a seeking site that doesn't seem to be terribly off.

I can't give you any advice here, but if you type it into google you'll get 30,000,000 results.

If all you want is sex, don't you have any friends with girlfriends that could set you up with someone? I think it would be the quickest way to get some! Would you be totally disappointed if it turned into more?

I'd focus energy in meeting people in ordinary places - i've found airports, fast food restuarants etc. much better for hook-up opportunities.
