Scabbed cut inside vagina?

Is it possible to have something like a scab over a cut, maybe an inch long, in the vagina? What could cause this, and what complications could arise from this? If its not a scab over a cut, what would it be? Somewhat hard, brownish colour similar to dry blood.

Not that I want to scare you, but it could be a lesion. Doctor, pronto.

Go ask a doctor. Do not ask us. All but maybe one or two of us are completely unqualified to give medical advice. This could be nothing, and it could be very serious. We don't know, and you probably don't want us looking at pictures of the inside of your girlfriend's (or wife's ) vagina to help you decide.

You should definitely go and see a doctor, this could be from an infection and it's not something that you might want to mess around with!

she's scared out of her mind at the thought of some strange man looking around and touching her vagina. it doesn't look like she'll be able to find a woman to do it, so it'll be hard. i'm trying to tell her to go, because if its something bad, the early they diagnose it the earlier they can treat it and avoid further complications.

The only way she can get help is if she goes to a doctor. There is nothing to be ashamed of.

How old is she? There's nothing to be scared of. Especially something this important.

A refular family practitioner can look in there, or an internist. They may not know exactly what it is, but they should be able to tell you what kinds of test to get.
And I'm sure a lot of gynos are used to women who aren't comfortable with men, and so are good at soothing their fears. The chiropractor I go to is totally non-sexual, which I think is deliberate since he works on college-age men and women. So, I'm sure a gyno would be equally as sensitive to the issue.
