Picky about Food, then Picky about Sex
I was chatting with a friend of mine a few months back and he made an interesting observation. This one gal he knows is one of the picky-est eaters he has ever met. And when she has sex with her husband, it's in the classic missionary position, lying so that her head is off the edge of the bed. Anything other than that is out of the question and will be promptly shot down.
And so it came down to this, if one is open-minded to different foods, and is always trying something new, then he/she is just as experimental in bed. And if the person is a picky eater, their sex life will follow suit. Myself, I'll eat breakfast for dinner, and I'll scramble my lunch into an omlette of some kind in the morning. I'd like to try everything on that Periodic Table of Sex they sell at Spencer's Gift, and that strap-on thing sounds like fun (since her hands are free).

I don't know, I don't really have the big experience needed to tell if this is true or not. But my girlfriend is a pretty non-fussy eater and she's pretty open to most things (anal excluded) so I dunno. Interesting observation though.

I am a relatively picky eater, but when it comes to sex, I'll do just about whatever. There are a few things excluded, but... yeah....

That said, I was really picky eater when I was kid and didn't get much sex... Now that I am older I eat pretty much anything... and get a lot more sex... Is there a connection?

hmmmm.... this is interesting. i've never thought about that before. but now that you mention it, and as i look back at the women i've been with and their eating habits, i would have to say that this holds pretty true. not entirely true, of course, but very close.
i still think i need to conduct further investigation though in order to ensure a more accurate hypothesis. :-) |

In my limited experience, yes this seems to be true (now that you mention it). My ex wife was a picky eater, and was very limited in the sack. My first gf after my divorce was pretty experimental in both food and sex. Perhaps you're on to something.

I think it's just a personality type. You'll always find mixtures of different degrees of pickiness.

my man is the pickiest eater i've ever met!!
he just tried an olive for the first time in his whole life, a few weeks back. but, he's far from boring in the bedroom thank god that this food=sex thing does not correlate so evenly for everyone. |

I think it just depends on the person. I am a very picky eater. I don't eat anything spicy and there are only a few vegetables I like. I also must have all my food separated on my plate. But when it comes to the bedroom, I'm into trying new things and I've never had any complaints about being boring in there.

I'm not a picky eater and totally open to trying new things.
This is really interesting...my lover will eat anything but was a very picky eater as a kid and is rather (very) restrained in the bedroom...but that's all right by me...brings out my dominant side.
