Breaking the hymen
 

From what I know, it can be broken by sex, fingering, tampons, sports, or a strong orgasm. What I don't know is what will happen when it breaks. Does it hurt a lot? Will there be a lot of bleeding? How long does the pain take to go away? How long should I expect before she can have sex comfortably?

Is it just me or when you hear the word Hymen do you think it sounds like a Jewish holiday?

Holy crap... that must be one strong orgasm.
It will usually hurt. Some girls don't experience much pain though. My experiences are it usually takes 5 or 6 times untill it doesn't hurt.

Not really.

Passover, Channuka, Purim, Yom Kippur, Yom Tov, Rosh Hashana, Hymen , nope just doesn't seem to fit.

It's going to be different for every girl. I was lucky and happened to be near a source of water when I started bleeding, so I just jumped back in. Didn't hurt me at all, but other girls might be different.

Mine broke during fingering, there was some blood, it did hurt, but not anything excessive. But it is different for each woman . . . Sex comfortably will take at least 5-6 times before it starts getting good for her, make sure she is as relaxed and comfortable as possible . . . use lotsa lube, can never use too much lube :)
