Curious Thoughts
Ok so I was thinking (yes scary I know) and I'm quite curious about some things. The popular theory is of course that women with women is hot and guys with guys is not. I don't follow this belief at all. That is a known fact. Here is where I'm going with this.. bear with me if this doesn't come out clear.
I've noticed that most guys don't like to get naked in front of other guys. Girls don't seem to mind as much. Is this due to our past conservative culture or is it natural? Girls seem more open to experimentation than guys as well. Let's say for instance: Girl has sleep over with a few other friends. They get in a giddy mood and they are naked per say. They end up watching a vid and one or two masturbate together. (yes I know girls who did this that's where this whole process began to swirl in my head) OK now.. most guys I know won't attempt to experiment with another guy even though the thought has crossed his mind once or twice. Guys watch porno (alot) and alot of times there is another guy present. Is there something in a person's mind that stops them from just pulling it out and masturbating with another guy present? What's wrong with a couple friends jerking off at the same time in the same room while watching porn? You don't have to actually touch the other person or anything. I see this as something fun on occasion. Of course I like to play with others as well. I've been thinking about this for a while so I'm quite curious as to what other people think. I had more questions and views on this but I'm having a brain fart at the moment so feel free to expand on any thing here. I encourage that. What I don't want is "that's sick" "that's fucked up" or any flame towards people who enjoy same sex relationships, or experimentations. Thanks edit: I know this is probably not what generally happens at a "sleep over" , it is just something that some friends of mine said they did out of the blue one night while a sleep over occured. Please don't take this as "girls have sleep overs and always play with each other" Last edited by Glory's Sun; 11-16-2004 at 09:37 AM.. |

When i was 15 on a rugby tour me and another guy from my team were watching porn in the hotel after the match. it started out i just had my hand down my trousers having a tug but then the other guy just got it out, so i did too and we both just sat there watched some good porn and jerked off.
I know why most guys dont, its insecurity about the size of their dong - think about it girls dont have to tell each other if they are a bucket or tight but if you have a maggot for a cock its a little embarrasing to be whiping it out in front of other guys.. thankfully being a healthy 8.5 inches and also being bi-sexual means i have no such hang-ups |

Experimentation is a wonderful and healthy part of any lifestyle, as long as everyone's safe about it.
Men have always had a same-sex taboo of much heavier consequence than women. The terminology alone that men have contrived to horrifically label the gay community has always been an issue, and a major component of the psychology associated with male-male relationships, sexual matters, etc. There's also penis size, but that's an obvious one. I believe that women have never really had that horrible stigma placed on their gender anywhere near the same way that men have. I also believe that men are more prone to being embarrased of their feelings- where a woman might feel a little turned on, she might be more inclined to act on a more societal 'taboo' impulse than a man. Some people are just more open than others- but being very open doesn't mean they like everything. As for me, I am a VERY open person, but really have no interest in anything to do with another man. I have no problem with male nudity, but I wouldn't seek it out, either. I would derive no pleasure from manual stimulation with another man in the room, and really that's all that matters for me. |

Hey whatever gets you off. I think it's a combination of culture and natural male impulses (as in, not wanting other males in your "territory") that keeps it taboo. Personally I wouldn't be interested in masturbating with another guy present, even if there's no touching involved. Now add a girl into that mix and I'd probably change my mind, I'd have something to get excited over than just porno. Basically its the same view I have on 3somes, I'd do a MMF 3 way no problem as long as its understood the guys are there to pleasure the girl not each other. The thought of another guy just doesn't do it for me.

I don't agree with you on the nudity side. Guys in locker rooms are at ease. All take showers together without even thinking about it. But women doing the same is a bit unusual. THat is why that in most places, they have seperate showers.
Let's not mix Porn with real world! As for watching 2 women vs 2 men together, I guess if you like women like I do, you get a double shot in one. So you double the good effect! But if you don't really understand the gay aspect, then you also have 2 for 1 but with the opposite effect! |

you're right about the locker room thing. I was going more for a more private setting. Maybe it's just me or where I live?? |

It's not about gay or not, I just dont want to have a guy pleasuring himself near me, nor do I want to see it. I dont want to see a guy (or girl) taking a shit, it has nothing to do with their gender or anything like that, it's natural but I dont want to see it. Though I will admit, girls pleasuring themselves is one of the sexiest things ever. |
