Hi alltogether,
I have a simple question to ask all of you who did ever buy some sextoys like handcuffs or buttplugs together with your bf/gf:

What do you do with them when you break up? I mean, I don't actually know If women have a problem with some sort of 'used' toys when they come together someone...

Toss 'em! Toss all of them. You think your next girlfriend will want something up her ass that you and your LAST girlfriend used? Besides, part of the fun is actually BUYING these toys together. Throw away the old stuff and get new stuff with your next girl.

About the only thing worth keeping is something not covered in any bodily fluids. You may be able to save the cuffs, depending on how you used them. Otherwise, throw them out and start a new collection with your next girlfriend.

well, if they're silicon then they're able to be sterilized, so I'd keep 'em. Otherwise I'd get rid of them, or just leave them with the ex.

keep them for yourself, if you clean them very well your next girl doesn't exactly need to know where they been before... i wouldn't really show them to the next girl unless i knew for sure she would like them

I would say, depends on who they were used by. If the were something she used, then let her keep em. If you used em on you, you keep em. Don't try to bring them into play with a new girl. That is just a bad idea.

I went through this during my big breakup. We ended up tossing them. In the grand scheme of things they are pretty damn cheap. Do you really want old memories associated with the sex toys you’re using on your current lover?

If it was bitter, then wait for a few months and deliver them to the door of her new boyfriend. Tell him that she "left some things over at the house", and that you knew she'd want them back. If she's not dating yet, drop them off at her office. I'm sure that she'd appreciate the gesture.

I would say anything that can't be sterilized (such as jelly toys) should definently be tossed. The rest is up to you really, if you are still comfortable using them with someone else and you think they would be okay with it too, then go ahead and keep them. If you don't think you could use them with someone else without it being kinda weird, then toss them.

as a girl, i think i'd be a bit grossed out by a partner using the same toys with me that he used with an ex. why? beats the hell out of me...i've shared toys with friends and had no probs with it (with proper cleaning of course). but something about sharing them with a guys ex just feels creepy to me.

however i always keep the toys after a split and i've enjoyed them with new partners. i guess i'm a hypocrite

well, i do more lending than borrowing lol toys can get expensive if you want to try a lot--i've invested a small fortune in my collection. if you have the chance to try before you buy, i'm all for it! it's not like you can return it or resell it if you don't enjoy it.

I agree that it is fine to share these toys. My wife gave one that she didn't like to a friend for the same reasons that you listed. Of course, I am not going to loan my hand out to my friend. If he doesn't like his hand, tough shit. He is stuck with them.

I think I can say with great certainty that I do not know a single guy that would tell his friends he even had sex toys - much less ask to borrow a friend's sex toy. Of the sex toys (for men) that I have tried, they are all pretty disappointing.
