Pregnancy scare?

Sept. 02 was my my partners last period. On the 8th the condom we were using broke, she got EC the following day. It took untill the 15th of October till she had her "EC induced period", or atleast that's what we thought it was. About the 11th of October she blead for just one day and was kinda generally moody during this time (I might have scratched her with a finger nail). As of today (the 16th of October) she hasn't had another period, nor is she showing any signs she's about to.

Should I be worried?

I don't know much about what the EC pills do to your cycle after they are taken. Has she had a follow up visit with the place who prescribed the pills?

The pills may mess up your system for a while -- is she on any sort of birth control now?

We are/were going to get on Depo as soon as she started her next regular period. Currently, no.

Missing a period isn't that abnormal, especailly if your lady is stressed out by, say, the idea that she might be pregnant. You should get her tested so you don't have to worry about worrying.

From what I can google up --

How do I know it has worked?

Your next period will come earlier or on time. If it comes earlier it may last longer. Any delay in your next period means you could be pregnant and you should do a test and see your doctor.
-----------

Did that actually happen? - Put your mind and hers at ease -- get a test...

I've found this by Googleing...
http://www.ec-help.org/FAQsPrintFriendly.htm
"Your next period should come more or less on time. It is more common for your period to be late than to come early because ovulation is delayed in many women. If you don’t get a normal period within three weeks, take a pregnancy test."

My lady is sometmies very late

My lady is sometimes very late - up to 2 or 3 weeks. It can be scary and often we buy a test kit just to ease our minds. However, it is always near times of high stress for her to begin with - stress can do strange things to a girl's body. Hope this helps!

I would buy a test kit and get it over with. It will show up. She is stressed, not good, taking EC pills to induce a period, this will majorly mess up her cycle for the time that she took them. I wouldn't worry too much.

Its better to buy the test and get if over with. And schedule a doctor's appoinment as soon as you can. It may still be a month until the doctor can see you, but at least you'll know for sure. I've never had to take EC, but I've heard it can really screw with a girl's cycle. And yes, stress could make you guys wait even longer. Buy the test, be sure, go from there.
