my "special friend" and i have been embroiled lately in a discussion involving the differences between male and female orgasms. he absolutely INSISTS that there's all the difference in the world. he likens the experience to that of driving a ferrari (for women) as opposed to riding a skateboard (for men). he says men do not have the ability to completely let go and drift into complete bliss like women can before, during, and after the orgasm. he says orgasms for men are good and all, but that men envy the power women have to enjoy theirs so much more.

what do y'all think? is this true? do women really have it that much better or is he just blowing wind up my skirt?

I would have to agree with your special friend. I am speaking solely from a male persective, of course. I've read stories by women who speak of amazing orgasms, though never any by men who speak of blindingly amazing orgasms. I would have to venture to say that in order for man to achieve a hightened or more pleasurable orgasm, his "g-spot" would need some kind of stimulation. Hope this helps a bit.

Kittenpie...very good question, and a very subjective one to try to answer. First off in case you couldn't tell, I'm a man...so this will be from my side of the fence if you will.
If the ladies I have know in my lifetime are telling me accurately, mens orgasm can't hold a candle to ones that women have. Ours are very, very intense, but extremely localized, not to say that sex, and orgasm doesn't make a man feel good all over. On the other hand, the female orgasm seems for the most part to be centered below the waist if you will, but also encompasses her whole body. It's been described to me as more or less spreading out in waves, from the toes, and especially the head, and brain. Like your "special friend", I can only imagine the feeling, but I believe he is right, at least from my experience he is. But keep in mind I'm not, and I assume he isn't, complaining!

Well, since we all pretty much know that women can have multiple orgasms and men for the most part can't, I'd have to say that you women have it pretty damn good. Personally, I've never have any multiple orgasms and god knows I've tried both solo and with flygirl. Men's orgasms, from my perspective, are pretty much a straight shot. You build up the anticipation, eventually shoot and then recover. Simple. I think that women are pretty much all over the orgasmic spectrum. More power to you I say.

it is somethign to envy when a woman has a handful of spots on her body that can be touched or caressed and it feels good enough that you could orgasm to it. I don't have any stimulation points outside my crotch area, which means that you kinda feel left out of the fun if no genital stimulation occurs.


but I know for a fact that I can't drift off into complete bliss for more than the couple moments the orgasm occurs. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the stimulation, but during sex I have to concentrate to make sure I'll be good to go for a reasonable amount of time. Women don't have that type of pressure to last because they can either have multiple orgasms without stopping or just take a while to climax. That assurance probably allows a women to relax and really enjoy what they are getting.

I just have to say as a woman that I think far too many men think that all women have multiple orgasms. While many do, I'm sure just as many don't.

My orgasms last all of two seconds and then my clit gets so ultra sensitive that I can't handle any further stimulation. Give me a half hour or so and maybe I can have another one.

The only mind-blowing two orgasms I've had in 16 yrs. with DH were G-spot orgasms without any clitoral stimulation and were completely unexpected. They were the only two times I've experienced female ejaculation and it hasn't happened again for 5 yrs. (not for lack of trying ;)). My average one's don't come close due to the instant sensitivity factor.

I've always been envious of men because it seems to me that theirs are so powerful (and maybe compared to mine, they are).

As a guy I've noticed that mine really don't hold a candle to my girlfriend's (or most of the girls I've been with). For me it feels good building up, there's an instant of really intense feeling, then it's over, and really it only lasts a second. At no point do I really lose control, and as soon as it's over I'm pretty much back to normal, with the exception of a few that left me with soon numbness in my legs and arms, but those were rare and took forever. The girls I've been with tended to have orgasms that stretched out for some length of time (atleast the good ones), and that tended to leave them drained/numb/or unable to walk. All in all i think it breaks down that a guy is much more assured of actually having an orgasm, but a girl has much better ones if she's with a decent guy.

Speaking from personal experience, women are able to have three types of orgasms - anal, vaginal and clitoral. I find the clitoral one the most mindblowing, but hey, that's three.....count 'em....three!!

The multiple orgasms thing is such an overwhelming factor that there can be no doubt that women have better potential sexual experiences... and while there is no way for me to really know, it sure looks like they can have more intense orgasms.

Eh, I think that guys can match the female orgasm in singles, but women by far have the advantage with the multis. However, the male equivelent of a female orgasm does not happen all the time.

I think female orgasms are much more powerful than men's. I'm a guy. This opinion is coming only from the fact that woman (some) are so vocal and make it clear what's happening to them. Seems like it lasts longer too.

I think generally women do have more powerful, full body, orgasms which in my opinion equals better. I can't do multiples, so :p to those that can.

One thing I have is really strong PC muscles, so my SO can really experience my orgasms with me since I squeeze the crap out of him. I can sometimes feel his, but it doesn't really heighten my pleasure to do so, like mine do for him.
