Pregnancy question.
No real problem here as far broken condom or anything, but just curious can a woman have periods even if she's pregnant? I'd assume not, but just one of those questions that popped through my head.
|
spotting during pregnancy is possible -- and it's possible that the woman can think she's having her period...
I had a roommate in college who swore she got her period every month - and cheered and lived the life of a college student up til the time she was taken tothe hospital in labor -- |
I was wondering this a while ago...
lady (who is training to be a nurse) told me that it's possible but very unlikely. a girl's period isn't just a green light for another month of fucking... if you aren't sure get a test. |
I was just wondering about this too...
Though, Mal, with your roommate it seems like more of a case of "if I ignore it, its not there'. I don't know, I'm still curious. Anyone else have some info/ideas? |

I think she was a legacy, because she was an idiot...
In answer to your question... Can you be pregnant and still get your period Question Can you have a full period if you are pregnant? If so, how? Answer Pregnant women cannot have a regular period. During menstruation, the lining of the uterus, which is made of blood and tissue, leaves the body through the vagina. When a woman is pregnant, the fertilized egg attaches itself to this lining of the uterus, so it does not leave the body. If a woman seems to be menstruating normally, it is highly unlikely that she is pregnant. Usually the first sign of pregnancy is a missed period. However, some pregnant women may get light spotting during the first couple months of pregnancy that may seem like a period — but this is rare. If a woman is experiencing other symptoms of pregnancy such as nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, headaches, and sore or enlarged breasts, she should take a pregnancy test just to be sure. |
It happens. So, if you suspect that you might be pregnant, spend the $5 and get a home test.
