Penis Size revisited
 

Obviously, penis size is still a concern out there. Just read the thread of FakeAlias on flaccid penis. I, for one, have been concerned with my penis size my whole life. It has little to do with sex as it does with feeling inadequate. I can't walk in a locker room without feeling ashamed of my size. When I get out of a pool, I doublely make sure my trunks are pulled away from that area. I would like to know if there is anyone out there who had a penis size they were not comfortable with and was able to overcome the inadequacy or find means to enlarge it. Women and men with naturally big penises just don't understand.

Evidently, I'm very close to the statistical mean, but I have to admit that like most men, I have at many times felt self conscious of my size. You *know* there is something wrong with our culture if someone who is AVERAGE SIZE feels inadequate!

Here's an odd thought experiment that might put things in perspective. I expect that someday humanity will finally make contact with an alien species. Imagine for a moment that you were asked by your government to explain to an alien ambassador the importance that our species places upon penis size. Or breast size, for that manner. Can you imagine how ridiculous such an explanation would sound? It would be like trying to explain to them that human sexual attraction depended entirely on the thickness of one's toenails.

I think the problem is that most time you don't see the average penis. No matter how many times your told that average is about 6 inches you have a hard time believing because all you see it the big ones. Its exactly the same when very good looking 120lb women think they are fat because they see a 90lb model.

yeah, i think the problem most of the time is comparing to porno...

i mean thats the only time ive really seen a cock, except when my friend with an incredibly small one *whips* it out to prove its not incredibly small... yet it is... those are the only times ive seen, and if i were to compare to porno (oh hell even halx for that matter) id feel inadiquit as all hell. but i realized that its not all about the length, its about using it right, and finding a girl thats accepting of it.

Rogue49, knowing you personally by family anf friendship, IMHO you have no idea what's it's like because you don't have this "problem". So, I gather you would be making an opinion based on what you read or hear. I told you in this thread it has nothing to do with satisfying the woman, it has everything to do with feeling comfortable about myself. It's my achilles' heel. I have read all the TFP links to studies and such. Doesn't make me feel any better.
I have read your other posts, please don't act like your an expert on this one because I know for a fact ,on this one , you come out (pardon the pun) a bit short.
I appreciate you trying to make me feel better about myself and blaming the problem on my wife, but I have had these feelings long before I ever met her.

Sorry about being pissy. I had a horrible day. Today, a teacher at my high school who is the same age as I am had a heart-attack and died suddenly while teaching class. I am a little freaked.
