Ex(15 yrs ago) Girlfriend Dreams. - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Ok so lately I have been having dreams about my ex girlfriend that I had about 15 years ago, I am not living in the same area as whenI was with her and tried to find out where she is living to contact her but the 2 known places that she used to live have no record of her being there. I am probably sure she is married and was thinking of calling a family member to see if I could get ahold of her but I dont want to sound like a quack or something when I call them. I want to get in touch with her just to see what she is up to and talk, I dont want to stur up any trouble or old emotions.

So has anyone else have this happen to them?

One...dreaming about ex's, no matter how far gone in the past, is perfectly normal. Hell, I still have the occasional dream about a certain little redhaired angel from...let's see...shit, 25 years ago. Ouch!

Two. Leave...it...alone. Enjoy your dreams, and keep them for yourself. Don't kid yourself...you want more than just a casual "Hi, how are you doing?". After all these years (15 in your case) there is probably someone else. How would you feel if your SO suddenly had an old boyfriend, from 15 years ago, pop out of nowhere? In fact...had to do a lot of leg work just to find her? Besides...there is no way on this earth, or in heaven, that she could possibly measure up to your "memory" of her. Memories are very falible, and subject to our own wishes and desires.

No, just enjoy the dreams. They at least, are your own.
