What to do about this girl I met?
 

In August I am staying at a friends house in the country for a couple of nights, 3 days. There will be myself, my friend, my friends girlfriend and Fiona.
Saturday night I went to a party. Fiona was there and that was the first time we have met. By the end of the night before she left we were all over each other. Now, I was slightly tipsy at the time and I wouldn't have had the balls to do it if I was sober, but I did do it, and I would do it again.
The problem is I don't want to fuck it up between now and August, because that could make things really complex. I can either just be friends with her, not contact her much between now and August and see how she feels in August, or try for a relationship.
I think if I asked her out she would say yes, she did say something like "I want to meet up before August", which seems hopeful. Problem is if we split up, things could be really really dodgy.
If it wasn't for the whole August thing I would ask her out instantly, but it does change stuff somewhat.

Currently I am thinking I will ask her out and just take it slowly, don't scare her off. Anybody got any feedback or better ideas?

there again a giant meteor could hit the earth next week and non of this would mean bollocks then would it?

if you feel like asking her out, just do it. maybe if you dont, she will be really pissed at you in august becuase she wants to know why you didnt make a move!

dont try to plan your life to much man, sometimes you just have to act. go with your gut feeling and all that.

Over analyze this and August will be a long dry month for you pal. Get on the phone and ask this woman out again. Cross the "oh it just didn't work out between us" bridge when (and if) you come to it. In August if you two didn't hit it off then for craps sake be a man and deal with it. Between now and then you might have the ride of your life if you really like this woman. Why put it off.

Think of it this way: Today is yesterday's tomorrow. If you keep waiting for tomorrow you will never live your life. Life is today! Call her and get this thing going already. :D

Well thanks for breaking my head.
I only have her cell number, I got her home number off a mutual friend. Her cell it seems is often off (we have sent a few SMSes to and fro, it's more popular here than the USA). Next time I SMS her I'll ask her when would be a good time to phone.

Dude, it's three nights... Even if youre in the house with her you will probably be drinking, and everything is different when drinking anyways. I really cant see even if you two end up hating eachother what the bad part is.

It's just us 4. I'm going to SMS her and ask what would be a good time to phone, see what happens. I'm going away for a week on the 10th so I'll ask if she wants to do something soonish.

Ask her out! You obviously are interested in her. August is just 4 short weeks away so unless you really screw things up instantly you'll probably still be getting to know eachother by then.

Plus like everyone else said. You only live life once, you can live it or you can sit home and analyze it.

Well, I phoned her and I should be going round her house this Thursday. She's going away this Sunday for 2 weeks, I'm going away on Saturday for 1 week. Then on the 31st I'm going off for a week and in between her getting back and my leaving she is spending a weekend with friends by the coast. So little chance of me making an ass of myself, but a good chance of us two getting on, I hope.

see all is well. keep the lines of communication open then you can close the deal a little easier in august.

Since you won't be seeing her much till August anyway, you don't have a whole lot of opportunity to fuck things up. lol

Ask her out. She knows you will be staying there for 3 nights then so she might be in the mindset to take er slow and easy as well.
