Anyone think we should add "Tilted Relationships" under The Academy? Y or N

I vote no. The instructions on this are pretty clear--relationship threads go in Tilted Sexuality. That does seem to be hard to follow lately, though, I notice.

Incidentally, tim2shady, we appreciate your enthusiasm and all, but I'd suggest hanging around a little longer before making suggestions like this. Having your 37th post be a poll for a new forum feels a tad presumptuous to me. Could just be me, but...

I vote yes simply because some of my relationship thoughts don't always seem to apply to sexuality, but then again, that's just me....

I would just rename "Tilted sexuality" to "Tilted Relationships".. 'cause sexuality is a part of a relationship.. *shrug*

and relationships are a part of human sexuality.


what we have is good. i see no need to change it. the best advice would be for people to read forum rules and stickies in the newbies forum to figure out exactly where threads go. we've got a mass assortment that will cover most all bases.

Maybe the thread starter meant not just woman-man relationships but your normal best-friend (man-man, woman-woman) relationships? The kind you get in school.
Those arent sexual (Unless..secretly all women are lesbians)

Simple, as I see it. relationship-of-a-sexual-nature stuff goes in Sexuality, and the platonic relationship stuff goes in Living.

I'm just kind of wondering why this isn't in the Tilted Suggestions forum - kind of snuck up on me here, but I guess that's not too important. I don't think it's too bad of an idea, but people seem to be getting around pretty well from what I've seen so far...I would think that if enough people were in support that it might be something that could be done when the forum is updated. With that said, I've not been posting here long enough to really make too many organizational suggestions.

Most relationship problems are of a sexual nature and those who aren't, well the TS is a big enough place to fit that in aswell. My vote, No.

Problems in relationships aren't always about sex.

Sex isn't always about relationships, i.e., masturbation, pornography, sexual response, sexual technique, etc.

I've seen tons of threads in Sexuality that have no direct relation to the subject. Making a new Relationships board would fix that.
I'm all for making a new Relationships forum.

I think it might be a good idea, just cos some people want to talk about normal relationship stuff and some people want to talk about sex toys or cock piercing and stuff like that - which while there is some overlap, could be seen as to separate areas.

But I dont really mind how it is either, so I am cool with either way I guess.
