elwoodblues43, my spider sense tingles on this one. Several things to consider and they have all been brought up already:
The timing and reaction of your GF's kiss from the other dude seems way too coincidental. I think you are being naive about your girl. What are you bawling for? Buck up camper. Men can cry, but this seems a bit overboard IMO. You are a strong man for wanting to hold yourself in high standards by not ever cheating. This was not cheating. This was a tiny little mistake, unless you were possibly wanting that kiss from Danielle, then I would believe you feeling really bad about it. However, you say you told her NO and she still kissed you. I would be more pissed off at Danielle for doing that as opposed to feeling guilty for something you had no control over. (but, something tells me you might have temporarily "wanted" to see what it felt like for Danielle to kiss you) I am not trying to bash you, just a few things seem a bit odd about the story. Either way, I am glad you and your girl are cool now. Good luck. |
Some people on here are completely harsh and offer useless advice. Who the fuck cares if Elwood cried....or if he cried for hours. He came on here looking for advice from us on if he should tell his g/f what happened or not. Just because the way he reacted is not necessarily the way some of you would have reacted- does not make him overly emotional or give you a reason to make fun or ridicule him. The lack of respect people have shown on this thread is dissapointing.

Lack of respect?
Please, the kid got kissed by another woman. It isn't like he got caught screwing a cross-eyed midget while wearing a clown outfit. This whole thing strikes me as completely absurd and overblown..... |

Just because his reaction might not have conformed to preconceived societal notions about when a man should and should not cry does not give anyone the excuse to belittle him for it. In english, that means quit being a jerk. |
"In english, that means quit being a jerk."
If that is all it takes to offend you and send you into a defensive diatribe, I feel for you. My comment was not necessarily directed at the original poster. It was to the masses who have posted here regarding "a kiss". Let me repeat myself, "a kiss". You want to talk about a situation, I am trying to deal with a work arrangement, where one of my subordinates is supposedly having an affair with one of the administrative staff. She is already pregnant by one of the IT people, and his wife is pregnant at home with his third child. Somehow the notion that "a kiss" is generating this much moral discourse is laughable to me. Now, before you decide to kick the chair out from under me, I understand that everyone is different and situations are different. I merely meant to put some perspective on the situation. After all, as I originally posted here, He went, she kissed, he objected, he left. No harm, no foul, move on... |

To Shakran and diddagirl:
It is funny that you chose me to single out regarding the concept of men crying. I never jumped on the guy about crying. I was merely telling him that I didn't think anything occurred that he should be beating himself up about. |

Some horney skank tried to jump you. You fought her off and left.
 I suspect there is more. Like you went thinking it might happen. Like you have unresolved feelings. Like it wasn't a kiss but a blowjob. Either way, you aren't telling us everything important. You've left out stuff. That's why this thread is still going. So fess up. What's the rest of the story? |
BJ is a whole other thing.
It's much hotter. And worth celebratory dancing. |
Your a Guy right? I'm guessing that she did not overpower you, right? So, you kissed her, big deal. Don't do it again. And what's up with the crying? Lighten up there Francis, take a chill pill and grow some aggots.
|
Jesus guys, give him a break on the cryin, would ya?
Or I'll have to kick you all in your "aggots" (WTF?) and make you cry yourselves :) |
holy crap man, chill OUT, just tell your girlfriend and it'll be all good.
|
ok, I'm over it, I already said its resolved. To those of you who offered constructive advice, thank you
To the rest of you....Let it die, I'm sick of getting flamed because I came here for advice. Let this thread die already |

To those of you who think calling a sensitive guy a "wuss" or "absurd" is constructive, think again. I appreciate the efforts of the members who thought these comments were inappropriate, but PLEASE don't try to handle this yourself. All it led to was an argument. The report a post button can prevent something like this from happening again. |
But I wasn't done talkin' yet...
