How often do you see your SO?
this is just curiousity thing that i've been pondering about lately.
if you could state roughly how long you've been together, and if you work/study full/part time. what are you're thoughts on it? me? 1-2 days a week (always consecutive due to distance), both studying full time & working part time. would be nice to have more time together, but thats the way it works for now. edit: crapola.. i forgot the poll. any nice mod feel like adding it if they read it? |

We have been together for almost 5 months now. We used to see each other every two weeks due to the fact we went to different colleges that were 5 hrs apart. Now, he is at home and he is about 2,316.58 mile away. Over the summer I'll ony get to see him in July for about a week when I fly up there. But I suppose I can handle it, he's worth it.

i've been with my girlfriend for about a year and a half now. she works full time, plus has another job on the side giving horse jumping lessons. i'm out of classes for the summer, but hopefully i'll start working at least part time soon.
when i had classes, we'd only see each other on the weekends, maybe... and a few nights per week i'd come over late after studying and crawl in her bed for the night. right now, we see each other virtually every day because we always meet up for dinner at the least, and probably 3-4 days per week we spend more time together than just that.

We've been together almost 10 months and how often we see each other fluctuates with our schedules. I've seen her almost every day for the past 2 weeks, but for about a month before that I had only seen her a handful of times. We're both finished with school (and her with softball) now, so that makes it a lot easier.

We've been together a little over 7 months. During the school year, when we're about 2.5 hours apart, we see each other about every 2 weeks. Now that summers here, and he's got a job where I live, we're basically living together and its great! Makes me dread the beginning of school though....

Everyday, since we live together. 24/7 atm. Almost two years of togetherness, 1.5 years of living together.
I can't do the "once or twice a week"-thing, when I'm with someone I spend as much time as possible with them. It sucks, but I can't change it.

My boyfriend and I see eachother well.... every 3 months it seems to be. We went from August 4 till Dec 28 or so... and then from Jan 10 till Feb 14... We have been together for 2 years and have lived 14 hours to 20 hours away at all times. It's hard to get together... I'm in HS (grad this year) and he is in College... he lives in the midwest and I live on the coast. None of my friends believe they could do it... and can hardly believe that we can do it. But when I go out to see him, I am also seeing my family. When he is out here he is only seeing my family... so I think we have more fun the other way... or at least I do. If I could I would be out there most of the time. and we would be able to see eachother more. When I go to college we will be a few hours away, so we'll see eachother on the weekends.

During the summer we're interning in different states, so I only get to see her on weekends, maybe every other weekend. We'll see how this shapes up. It sucks. During the year we are together every day because we live together.

Well, I met her in Montreal, where we both go to school, and it turns out that she lives in my home state, about 20 minutes away from me. When we were at school, we saw each other every day (been together since December). Now that we're home, we see each other 3ish times a week, depending on our work schedules.

We've been going out for a year and a half at this point and due to the fact that I work about 40 hours a week during the time she goes to school it's practically impossible to see her. We squeeze in the time to see each other every now and then but that rarely ever happens if the time isn't planned out days in advance.
Living in New York and the time it takes mass transit to get you places (even if getting their by car would take a fraction of the time) the time we have to see each other gets cut that much shorter. But summer is coming which means I'll no longer be such a sad puppy.

Been together for a year and two weeks.
Before school started, we saw each other nearly everyday. During school, he went I got to see him every other weekend, since he went to SJSU which is three and a half hours away. Now that school is out for him, I can basically see him everyday. That has to change though, since his mother and sister see that as unhealthy and are both unhappy that he never visits with them. |

We've been together 19 years (married for 11 of them). Our daily schedule is roughly the same as it's always been; I leave for work before she gets up, so I don't see her until 5PM. Then, we spend every second together until we fall asleep. On the weekends, we go everywhere and do everything together.

Everyday. We live together, though, and it is kind of hard not to see someone when you wake up next to them. Though on some days, due to conflicting schedules, we only see eachother for about three hours before I go to sleep.

I don't have a "significant other", technically, but there is a girl that I'm quite interested in that lives about 850 miles away.
We went for almost 3.5 months with only talking on the phone/internet before ever meeting in person. I finally got to see her the first weekend in May, then went back this past weekend. If everything's still going well between us (which I hope it does), then I'll see her again in 2-3 weeks, again about 2 weeks after that, once more at the end of July (for a week), then I'll hopefully be moving about 10 minutes away from where she lives at the beginning/middle of August. It sucks, since I'm used to relationships in which I would see the person either daily, or at least 3-4 times a week. But, she's totally worth it (although I think we're both pretty stressed/confused by the distance and lack of face-to-face time).

Been together for 1½ years, currently see each other on weekends or less, due to me being in the army. It ends next month and then we'll probably see each other every day and sleep together every night. Changes again in September when my school starts and the distance is long again..

Been together for 16 years and married for 11 years as of June 4th, 2004...
I see her just about everyday except when I'm away on business. That said, we used to spend summers apart when we were in University... and while we were in School, before we moved in together, I'd see her a few times a week unless we were in a play and then almost everyday at rehearsal.

well, this has fed my curiousity.
of our group of friends, every couple see each other more than we see each other, but they all goto the same university, so its not hard. but seeing so many student replies and distance relationships, its re-assured me that we're not alone. thankfully this time next week, i'll be on the highway, driving down to live with her for 6weeks at her parents place. yay for end of semester! |

During the fall and spring semesters we see each other about twice a week. I'd like it to be more often, but she goes to a school about 20 miles from me, so it kinda makes it a pain - but not too bad.
During the summer... I don't know... about two weeks and counting. This is the longest we've been away from each other. I get to see her in 5 days though |
