I've gotta throw my vote in for Dave Matthews

Some of his music is so sensual it's amazing.

Dashboard Confessional is also a good one.

I guess it depends alot on the style of music you listen to.

I've been impressed with John Mayer.

Sada - Love Deluxe --> greatest hits CD, so highest density of good sexy songs, good background for a romaintic "my place" type event. Found to be one of the greatest and most subtle sexual lubricants.

Good intense, sexual CDs:
Enigma - MCXMC a.D.
Enigma - The Cross of Changes
Enigma - The Screen Behind the Mirrors (featured on Sliver, I believe)

I had a girlfriend who was into new age and Enya, Yanni and David Lanz (Christophori's Dream) fit the bill with her. I still have fond memories of those days when I hear that stuff.

Yeah, it depends on what kind of mood you're in, because, certainly NIN Closer would be good on occasion, and its fun on the dance floor.

Well my wife and I are both 80s children so hair metal works for us every time, Guns n Roses if I want to get her REALLY fired up. I actually prefer old instrumental jazz though. Neither of which is less than 5 years old so I guess I'd have so 2nd Portishead, although that's scraping the line, their last album (that I know of anyway) may be older than 5 years.

For those interested - some songs that have touched me deeply- and might work.

Hoobastank - The Reason
Def Leppard - you're so beautiful
Savage Garden - The Best Thing

Anything by Sade. Just buy Lovers Rock or Sade's Best Of or anything, really...Watch the sex happen.

Ken Davis playing the pan flutes. It's soothing. Relaxing. Puts her at complete ease. And you'll score points for having tasteful music. The best one for love making is 'Pan Flutes by the Ocean' My wife melts when she hears any selection from that CD.

Bob Marley-
Stir It Up, No Woman No Cry, Could You Be Loved, Is This Love

Def Leppard-
Pour Some Sugar On Me

Deftones-

The Doors-
Soul Kitchen, Twentieth Century Fox, LA Woman,The Crystal Ship, Love Me Two Times, Hello, I Love You, Light My Fire, Gloria

Guns N' Roses-
November Rain, Patience, One In a Million, Sweet Child O' Mine, Rocket Queen, Anything Goes, Breakdown

Jack Johnson-
Flake, Bubble Toes

Led Zeppelin-
Black Dog, Tangerine, In The Evening, Over the Hills and Far Away

Peter Gabriel-

Pixies-
Gigantic

Pink Floyd-
Young Lust (Definately the version from Is there Anybody Out There?), San Tropez, Fearless, Wish You Were Here

Rolling Stones-
Shine A Light, Gimme Shelter, Start Me Up, Ruby Tuesday

Steppenwolf-
Magic Carpet Ride (Bedlam's cover is pretty good too)

Steve Miller
Abracadabra, Sugar Babe, The Joker, Jungle Love, Wide River, Quicksilver Girl

Santana-

Sublime-
Badfish, No Woman No Cry, 40 Oz To Freedom

Most of this dosn't match the within 5 years criteria, but there's probably something you would like.

Really, as long as you have music you're off to a good start. Takes some pretty lame-ass music to make sex worse than without it.

Glad this got bumped back up. Depends a lot on the kind of "action" you are looking to stir up! Good soft mood music: Tricky, Moorcheeba, Lamb, Talk Talk remixes, Nina Simone, George Michael (album-Older), Seal, Coldplay

Good harder sexy music: Lords of Acid (Farstucker), The Cult (Electric), White Stripes. Just be ready for bruises in the morning!
