youch. well for one, how do you know there's no chance? And why give up if you don't even KNOW you're going to lose?

Like...you stop trying to get a girl because YOU think that she's not into you, without her directly telling you.

Or, you persist to try to get a girl even after she's told you that she just "wants to be friends" or if she has a bf.

Or any other scenario along those lines.

They're both shitty.

But I think it's worse to give up before you really should.

Then again it's pretty crappy to continue to chase somebody who has made it clear that they don't want to be chased.

I'm going with choice A for this one.

number one. I have done that so many fucking times i dont even wat to think about it. In hindsight, at least half of them would have worked out.

For me, persisting even though you know there's no chance... I was stupid enough to keep trying. Dumb me...

shit, I am such a bad judge of the situation that it doesn't matter to me either way. I do both I am sure, because unless a girl is very forthright ;) with her actions, I got nothing.

wow...tough choice. it sounds like someone has deconstructed my social life. This is a dichotomy of which I have played both sides regularly.

If you give up before you've lost, then you don't really know what you may have been missing, it was a 50/50 shot. But if you're persisting where's there's no chance, there's just this prolonged period of misery where you'll feel worse and worse as the days go by. I had an even worse variation of this, where I tried persistently to get back with my ex, only to finally come to terms.

I've done #2 so many times I've lost count...I'm not a quitter.
