Sex = Headaches ?

in the past few weeks during sex with my girlfriend or even by myself, ive been getting painful frequent headaches after about one to two minutes after erection...i was concerned for a bit because my first reaction was that it was with bloodflow or whatnot, but then not long afterwards i started getting the headaches when i lifted weights as well.

I was wondering either if im holding my breath and not noticing (i havent noticed anything like that yet) or if i was straining to hard on erection, or during sex itself.

Any advice??

I'd go to the doctor. That doesn't sound right. Sorry I can't be of any help.

Yeah, I hold my breath during sex because it's sometimes the only way I can get myself off. This gives me HUGE headaches (because I am very prone to them, in the first place). I just haven't been able to get to the doctor. If you can, that would probably be the best way to find out.

A year ago I changed to a new weightlifting regimen that called for me to lower the weights _very slowly_, and I got a blinding headache after the first set I went really heavy on. I thought that I was having a stroke or something, but the guys at the gym told me that I wasn't breathing enough during my new, longer reps (I did tend to hold my breath) and this and the strain were causing the blood vessels around the outside of my skull to swell, causing the headaches. I started breathing more during the reps, and things returned to normal quickly.

Try consciously trying to breathe more during both acts. But if that doesn't clear things up, see a doc.

you might have a case of low blood pressure of the level or sugar in you body might be too low. It does sound like diabetes, but I'm no expert. Do yourself a favor and see a physician :)

It has to do with high blood pressure. Nip down to the doctors office.
