Question regarding foreskin
Hey guys.
I have sort of an embarassing problem. You see, I'm uncut, and I'm told that the foreskin is supposed to retract behind the "cap". Well, it looks to me that either the skin is too tight, or my "cap" is too big. My girlfriend has been really tugging at my dick (unintentionally) and I've noticed that the skin has retracted more than usual. Is this a good sign? Thanks. |

well, how old are you? i kinda had the same problem as early as a couple of years back, i'm 20 now. recently i've been able to pull it back past the 'head' but i ran into another problem where my frenulum (connects the foreskin to the head) is too short. i'm actually going to go see a urologist about this this week. procedure is supposed to be pretty minor. if what you're talking about however is phimosis, then it might be a little more complicated. from what you said (not being to pull it back past the head) it sounds like that's what it is. there are a couple of treatments from circumcision (ouch?) to creams and stretching and such. do a search on the web or try checking out this place:
http://www.male-initiation.net/conditions.html it's got a lot of good info and some actual accounts. i'd suggest you go see a doctor about it too, it's probably what's best. |

What hurts is when you pull them (see above post) apart you have nasty tender marks (i mean like thin, thin pieces of tissue near bleeding but not actually bleeding) on your head that dont go away until a few weeks.
I learned the hard way. |

A tight foreskin is quite common. People are quick to offer circumcision as a cure, while it is in most cases unnecessary.
I used to have a really tight foreskin... It was painful to try to move it back as much as it should have been able to go... Y'know what fixed it for me? Sex. And more sex. I now have no problems with it whatsoever. Goes all the way back, effortlessly. Lots of lube, lots of exercise for your best friend, is what I recommend. And most of all, don't let your worry over this become too consuming.

Yep, I used to have a tight foreskin also. When you are a kid aparently they tell you now to pull it back whenever you have a bath to slowly stretch if out from a young age but as it becomes less common to get cut, you end up being un-cut and your parents were cut, so they don't understand that it needs to be worked out over time. Just gently pulling it down more and more over time will stretch it and eventually, like prince mentioned it will be totally loose.
