I have a strange fetish. The majority of the pleasure I get from sexual encounters comes from giving pleasure to the girl I'm with. There is nothing that turns me on more than bringing a girl to climax. I'm just wondering if there's a word for this, as femorgasmophile just doesn't really have that ring?

I feel the same way, but i don't really consider it a fetish, just a preference.

this is not a fetish. liking something does not make it a fetish. if i said "hey you know what, i have a fetish for brown hair" or "i have a fetish for missionary sex!" wouldn't you laugh in my face? frankly calling your desire to make a girl cum a fetish implies that such a desire is somehow odd and that making a woman cum shouldn't be exciting -- which is somewhat egotistical not to mention sexist.

honestly this sounds like a personal ad ( or a thinly veiled attempt at compliment fishing) -- "hey girls talk to me! i love making you cum!" -- in my experience such claims are usually overstated :).

I agree with most people hear. This doesn't seem like a fetish. To me, a fetish is something that *most* people would think is strange, but you really like.

Yeah, not a fetish. I think a lot of guys find pleasure in that.

I think you're going for #3 here -- but since making a girl orgasm cannot be construed as material or nonsexual I think this didn't make the fetish cut.

While I do get immensely turned on by getting a girl all hot and climactic, I don't get more pleasure from pleasuring a woman than I do from her giving me oral sex or letting me take her anally.

I love going down on a woman and making her cum like crazy. However, some women just take FOREVER to reach climax no matter how much foreplay and clitoral stimulation you give them... and I don't have the patience for that.

i can relate. some of my greatest pleasure is knowing that i'm giving pleasure. it turns you on to know that your getting the girl off.

The quotes are more like summaries of the common problems, they're not word for word (although in some cases they might be).

Here are some miscommunication problems:

She says - I like it soft and gentle.
He says - I like to "hit it" hard, that's what she likes me to do.
(My commentary: If that's what she likes, how come she's saying the exact opposite?)

She says - He just wants to "stick it in." That just doesn't do anything for me.
He says - She should want me inside of her. Now that's love and adoration for me.
(My commentary: Most egotistical and selfish thing I've ever heard.)

Fetish, no, more common than you think, definitely.

This is true. Preference is the correct word. Using the word fetish makes sure people understand what I'm trying to say, as it's in more common usage for this kind of thing.
