Well, I got picked up at 4pm. We went to go see a movie, then he took me to PF Chang's, my FAVORITE. YUM!! And then we went back to his house, I thought to hang out.... well, his parents are being relatively sneaky. I'm trying to figure out wtf's goin on, but I figure oh well and play with the dog (he's just so damn irresistable!) Sooo, I get a 'hey, wanna go out again?' So of course, I say yes. We go out, drive around the block, and come back. And I'm confused. Well, his dad had just pulled his prize Mustang out of the garage for us. *EYES POP OUT* This thing doesn't even get BREATHED on while unattended, and yet somehow he convinced his dad to let us go out in it. SO. We're driving, he won't tell me where we're going. Well, he took me up to the highest point of a nearby mountain (he drove around looking for the highest point on a close mountain a couple days earlier), put down the convertible top, and we watched the stars for a few minutes. THEN, he says something about one thing better than watching the stars is dancing under them. He said that just as he put in a mix cd of practically every song I'd ever mentioned that I liked. So, I got to dance under the stars (I've always wanted to do that, and I've tried getting him to dance almost every time I've seen him, and he remembered that I liked to lay and look at the stars from one of the first times we ever talked on the phone... a few weeks ago....). And for my gift, I got two CDs by my favorite band. I wish the night hadn't had to end.
What I did for him seems insignificant when I go back and read what he did for me.... :-/ Well, his birthday's comin' up.... ~sly smile~

My wife made me a very nice dinner and then told me to go relax in the family room as she needed to prepare dessert...
After a short break I was summoned upstairs where she has drawn me a bath. She stripped me and once I was ensconced in the tub she left me in the candle lit bath to soak. She returned shortly wearing the outfit I had purchased for her... She returned bearing ice cream floating in a pool of Devonshire custard... Some wine... some ice cream (dripped and drizzled in various parts of the body) and she left me to soak some more... Momentarily she returned with a fluffy towel and a new and wonderous outfit... After drying me off she led me to the bedroom where I was treated to a full body hot oil massage... Well you can imagine the rest... (I made her breakfast in bed the next morning)

He got me this plant I had been wanting and potted it himself in this really cool pottery that he had to look everywhere for. Then he got me a DVD that was very romantic and we made dinner together.
Part of his gift was what I wore to bed. The only thing though was that he liked the outfit so much........well you know It kinda got ripped. |

i got guilted into buying a rose for some cause. So on friday i meandered around with a rose before i found a girl to give it to. I think every girl should receive a rose at least once in their life. I talked with some guys about girls, relationships and such. It was good even though i didn't have a date or any real plans.

Got my girlfriend the new Nora Jones cd and a DDR pad.
She got me an angel food cake pan and some boxers. We went out and saw a cover band at the local bowling alley. She got really wasted. I convinced her to put on something sexy, but she felt sick so we just went to sleep. We had some really great sex on the 15th, though. |

Got my girlfriend a dozen red roses and the pleasure of my company (drove 2 hours to be with her this weekend). I got the pleasure of her company for my valentines gift. Hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge. More sex this weekend then ever.

I couldn't sleep the night before, and ended up sleeping most of Valentine's Day I got some nice gifts though, including some perfume that I absolutely love. Next weekend we're staying at the hotel that was booked THIS weekend, though, so I'll be sure to make it up to him

I've been sick the whole weekend.... so my boyfriend had to take care for me, and he did a wonderfull job at it!
I feel really bad that I spoiled our Valentine like this, I wanted to do all kinds of stuff for him, but the only thing i did was sleep, sleep and sleep! But I'll try to make up for him (he has his birthday coming up, so I'll do my best then!) He was soooo sweet for me, he looked after me the whole weekend, going to the grosery-shop (which he really hates!!) renting great movies, cooking lovely meals for me (which unfortunately I couldn't even tast at full...), giving me massages (well, at least trying to), and on top of that he gave me a coffee machine!!! So i wouldn't have to have a bad temper in the morning anymore... I'm so lucky with this guy, love him like hell! |

I gave my girlfriend a nice necklace, a stuffed cow (she's loves stuffed cows) and a card that took a few hours to make. She loved the presents but got upset because she "couldn't get anywhere to get me anything." I asked what she was going to get me, and she said she was going to get me some syrups and such from Starbucks for my espresso machine.
I told her it was fine, and I was happy to be spending V-day with her, but in the back of my mind I was thinking "starbucks is a two minute walk away....." I guess I was kinda disappointed, not really because I didn't get anything from her, but because I had been getting stuff together about 3 weeks prior to valentines day and she couldn't make the two minute walk. Maybe I'm an asshole for being upset and should be happy that I have a girlfriend, but if I am, so be it.

I think you have every right to feel disappointed. You put thought and effort into her gift. She did nothing for yours.

i was leaving town friday night, but i did what i could to make her feel special on friday before i left. we both worked, but i sent some flowers to her work and i went and made her a personal teddy bear that would say "i love you" in my voice everytime she sqeezed it. i also took her to lunch before i left town. I got nothing in return. valentine's day is such a woman's day. i supposed it would be different if i lived with my girl, but that's not the case
