This will be my first v-day being along in two years. I'm probably just going to sit home and relax. I would hang with my friends but they all got girlfriends. So I'm all out of luck this weekend. Ah well. I hate sentimental holidays. What about you?

I'm in the same club. I'll be spending the Hallmark Holiday without a girl again this year.

unless a miracle happens to bestow its luck upon me, then i too will be flying solo this V-day..........again.

tis my luck though....many of my friends also happen to be in the solo boat, so we'll all probably end up partying all night.

I, too, will be alone. A little sentimental for the past but not any worse off for not still being a part of what was. But I will gladly takeany company I can get.

V-day is lame. You know St. Valentine was a priest who performed underground marrages when they were made illegal? It's not really about buying heart shaped boxes of candy and flowers. It's to celebrate having the freedom to get a certificate that says you love somebody.
At least that's my attitude towards it. Actually, a girl asked me the other day if I could hang out with her, I didn't even realize it was Valentines day and I said I have to move. =) But I'll be enjoying a nice afternoon with some beer, hopefully in the sun. Ahh, weekend.

I coulda stuck it out for longer, but I couldn't take it anymore. That's why I am joinin' all of you guys. Let's go get drunk.

Well, there could be hope. A guy friend of mine stopped by earlier and said he wanted to go out to grab a bite to eat, so we went to a restaurant across from campus, and he paid. But now I'm stuck working all weekend.

I'll probably forget what day it is before I plan anything with my friends, since i'm no where near anyone i'd want to spend it with...

oh wait, it's today... curse this holiday!

Once again womanless. Though I'm going to check out a band tonite with a couple of female friends. Maybe they'll feel left out and want a little "Jadey-lovin'" to cheer 'em up!

Most of the time I dont feel so bad about it, I'm just really drunk right now, plus it's St Valentine's day, and I feel very miserable.

I used to get uptight and real depressed on Valentine's Day, then I realized it's not just a day to spend with a SO but one where you could pass your love on to anyone.

Who says you have to be with a man/woman in order for the day to be happy? Share your love with a friend, family member or a stranger.

Besides, isn't Valentine's basically just a marketing ploy created by the card companies to get consumers to buy more? :- P

ah, the angst, i wasn't going to be alone, till we broke up last night, and then, seeing her today at a party, having a good time... and me sorta standing off to the side, feeling sad...

I spent the day with my friend Nick, then came home and had a couple glasses of wine with my roomie. I'm now watching a movie and just basically doing nothing.

If it's free it's for me! Yup...in the single on V-Day club and that means I save a little extra cash. I'd still rather be takin old one-eye to the optometerist though....Oh well..maybe next year. ;)

I am so glad we don't celebrate Valentines Day in Denmark (not officially but some people here do). it takes a load of my mind like: will I spend it alone? What should I get my boy/girlfriend? Is flowers romantic enough?? Will he/she like my present... ARGH! :crazy:
