Apadravya
Well, after much considering and delaying, the deed is done.
I now sport a manhood adorned with a nice bar through the head. Few points so far: 1) Practically no pain (but then EPID and i've had a lot of pain to deal with in recent years so YMMV). 2) Its bleeding quite a lot still, but thats after only 2 nights. 3) Intruiging sensations already. 4) Looks superb. Any other apadravians about? Any comments on the blood volumes that you good people experienced, if you exist out there... *looks out into the mists of tfp* (have checked through the usual sources for piercings, just wanting some direct personal, err, ahem, input... as it were... *cough*)

No, not much swelling at all actually...
I think the particular piercer and their relative skill and experience might have a lot to do with the swellage suffered. My tongue swelled like a very swollen thing when i got that done and, with having been to this guy now, that piercer definitely seems sub-standard.

wow very brave of ya, the whole nerves thing before one like that has to be tough. I have a simple frenum for now, thinking about getting a PA, and maybe Apa after that, but one straight needle thru all that *ahem* meat would be very hestitant about. But congrats, I know how it feels to have a lovely piercing. And good luck with the healing man.

Congrats... I've had an ampallang for about 12 years now and have been thinking of either getting a PA or an Apadravya...
I've been thinking it might be cool to get two Apadravyas side by but I'm not sure how that would work. I need to speak with a piercer. I too was surprised at how little the actual piercing hurt. It was the damn clamp that hurt for me. Cheers!

I've also had a PA in the past. I would recommend you go with a 12 gauge, no bigger, and get either a small ring or a curved barbell. When I got my PA, I had it pierced at a 10, with a 5/8's ring. I think it was too heavy and didn't let it heal very fast at all. I was a virgin when I got it done, and had sex like 8 months after. Couldn't finish cause it hurt too bad. It hurt like a motherfucker. The PA was my only piercing that I didn't enjoy the actual experience of getting it pierced.

myne is a 3/4" 14ga, I want to stretch it to at least 10, and the PA i was thinking about getting, 10ga. Also I am a virgin also, maybe not for long tho with my current girl. The healing was nothing, I washed it once a day and that was it, took not even 3 weeks to fully heal, and the piercing itself wasn't even a pinch, my nipples hurt 10x worse. Well I am not sure about your stats, but a 5/8" cbr for a PA seems a bit small or snug. < /hijack> Yea where are the pics also!!!

for those who don't know, you can see a detailed explaination here: http://www.tattoocrazy.co.uk/piercin...male.html#apad
be warned, it has a few images that may not be considered work-safe. that said, yowza. i'm really adverse to pain in the groinal region, so i think this is something i'm gonna have to pass on. be sure to keep that nice and clean, the worst thing in the world would be an infection down there. best of luck!

Congrats. That piercing is a little much for me. I just got home and was going to post that I just got my PA done tonight. I have considered it for a long time, and finally just went for it. It is my first piercing and I already like it a lot. If your considering it, I would do it. Not sure what the diameter of the ring is, but I know its 10g. I would go get the card w/ the info, but I don't feel like walking out to my car right now.

You can big me up as much as you like.
carry on. mine's been stretched up to 6g now, and will be going a little higher. I'd recommend going up to _at least_ 8g for comfort - from personal experience and all the stuff i've read. you should wait for 3-4 months before starting to stretch, though.
