What do chicks mean when they say "I love you" in a flirty/ flippant manner? It has happened to me a few times and I've sort of dismissed it, it sounded to me more like they were taking to a cute dog than acctually meaning it. So what am I on the nose here or totaly off base?

I guess that would depend on exactly the way they said it, what type of girls they are and what type of guy they think you are...

sounds to me they just find you quite a sweetheart- a teddybear, puppydawg type kinda guy, which is not bad at all. You tend to say silly things or do silly things that girls find so cute and attractive.

I've had girls tell me they love me for as little as providing exact change for the coffee I was buying. It's no big deal, although if you're after this girl, she's basically giving you permission to land.

I had a girl tell me she loved me, and at the time we were really close, and we both knew how we felt about each other.

We ended up having sex that day and since that day on, she's never told me that again, nor come around anymore! That was my first time in the sex dept. so all I could figure was that it was her way of "making it OK" with me to do that with her. We still talk now and again and I finally got tired of wondering if I was just a "booty call" or just what was going on so I asked her about it.

She told me that she used to tell people she loved them when she really didn't and when she said that to me and I told her the same thing, and we did what we did, she got scared and pulled away. What's that about?

well, it might be that they really do but they don't want to come right out and say "i love you. seriously". as a girl, i've heard all kinds of stories of guys that get scared when girls say that, and im sure im not the only girl out there who tends to be cautious when saying it. maybe they meant it, but didn't want to freak you out. or perhaps you're just that cute hehe
