Pre-cum and Pregnancy?

I have a simple question. Can precum get a girl pregnant?

My girlfriend and I have sex very regularly, and sometimes I just don't have a condom on me, so we won't use one. I'll simply pull out before orgasming, which is what I'll do anyway even wearing a condom despite her being on birth control. The last thing I want is a child at 19.

About a week ago she ended her last period, but tonight while having sex we found that she had blood in her, but only a little. She wasn't sure if she was bleeding or if it was old blood. Of course, this frightened the both of us.

What I would like to know if this a sign that she may be pregnant? Although I thought if you do get pregnant, you would miss your period... The only way I can think of this happening if pre-cum were the way. Can pre-cum get a girl pregnant? Again, not something I've ever heard of before.

In any event, we've just made our minds up to just not do it anymore unless we have a condom with us. It's just not worth the risk.

Yes, pre-cum can get a girl pregnant.

strcrssd 01-03-2004 01:22 AM

Very definately.

Pre-cum does carry some sperm...only a few...but then again, only one needs to get through.

Carry condoms and get her on the pill....be doubly protected most of the time and protected all of the time.

tenchi069 01-03-2004 01:28 AM

Yes precum can get her pregnant. If she is on the pill and takes it at the same time every day/night then your odds of her getting pregnant even if you fully come inside her are very low.

Now that said. you can wear a condom, use a pill, time the days you have sex, pull out early, do the havenobaby dance under a full moon on the 3rd tuesday of the month, and do everything else you can think of to not get pregnant and it could still happen. Abstaining is the only 100%

pre cum, is basically some fluid which helps clear the urine out of your penis, because urine is an acid and stops the cum from being fertile, chances of precum actually getting someone pregnant is very very low. it's basically a cleansing thing, but sometimes it does contain traces of fertile sperm etc.

But still chances are very low.

Just make sure she's on the pill and ya use condoms, just to be safe :)

According to planned parenthood, pulling out is between 73-96% effective. Which means you can definitely get her pregnant.

I can tell you from experience, Yes you can...

The only safe way is to put it in double, and let the squirty end hang out...:D

I did withdrawal with my ex, ALL THE TIME, and we used a condom once (towards the end of the relationship) the bastard broke, and she fell pregnant, wonderful hey!

I have a very simple answer. Yes.

Now, blood in the vagina after her period probably doesn't mean she's pregnant, it's probably just leftovers. If she's just finished her period, then she almost certainly hasn't ovulated yet, and won't for a week or more. You don't know it, but you're also using the rhythm method, which is a half-step-up from the "Fuck and Pray" method.

Sounds to me like you dodged a bullet on this one. The appopriate thing to do is get good and scared by this close call and go buy stock in Trojan.

Pre-cum has "few" sperm in comparison to normal ejaculate. I don't know the exact numbers but if it's only 1,000,000 instead of the normal 20,000,000 (figures are random), I still wouldn't want to be taking a chance on it...

Dilbert1234567 01-03-2004 08:29 PM

dont take the chance, bag it or get her on the pill / shot etc.

just one little sperm, "the little sperm that could", is all it takes.

maxhooters 01-03-2004 09:09 PM

yes you can. you can ask my younger brother. and one thing for you. the pull out deal does not work for one reason. IT FELLS TO GOOD INSIDE. use a condom would ya

present_future 01-03-2004 11:13 PM

denim 01-04-2004 11:58 AM

Just in case it's not clear yet: Yes!

legolas 01-04-2004 09:44 PM

Actually precum is more potent than regular cum, there's just less of it.

macro 01-07-2004 01:26 AM

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Actually, pre-cum has never been proven to contain a significant sperm count apart from when the male has had a recent ejaculation and the ejaculate has not been flushed out (ie. by urine).

Therefore, if you allow a certain amount of time between sessions ans take a pee, the chances of active sperm in the pre-ejeculate is very low.

However, it is best to be on the cautious side and use other contraception such as a condom.

the general consensus here is yes... And they're right. Here's one... My wife was on the pill and we used condoms, and suddenly we find out she's not getting chunky, she's 6 months pregnant.... Hadn't missed a period, nothin... and yeah, we'd had a couple of nights of "pull out" sex. so yeah, it happens.... The up side is, in your case it simply isn't LIKELY.. possible, but not LIKELY.

hellasnow 01-08-2004 01:32 PM

you bet it can

Grouper 01-09-2004 01:17 PM

While we're on the topic, I've been jerking off since I was 13 having sex since I was 19. I have yet to experience anything like "pre-cum" like I hear about and now read about in this thread. I feel my orgasm coming and then start ejaculating, no pre-cum.

Does everyone get/have "pre-cum"? I'm confident that if it happened to me, I would notice.

denim 01-09-2004 02:10 PM

Oh good, I'm not the only one. I've experienced pre-cum but only recently and not all the time.

monkeysugar 01-15-2004 08:48 PM

I think the question has been thoroughly answered, but here's just something to consider: Sex lasts a short time. Raising a kid lasts a lifetime.

saleenobsessed 01-18-2004 10:18 PM

Yes I can also tell you from expirance. And make sure once she gets on the the pill she reads the instructions clearly. The pill does not become fully efective for a month. If she had the problem like i had and didn't remember to take it make her do something else like the patch or the shot. Be careful.

motdakasha 01-19-2004 01:49 AM

A friend of mine impregnated a girl without ever penetrating her.

YES!

Even if you don't think you have a lot of pre-cum, even if you think you have none at all, or very rarely, YOU HAVE PRECUM. Kthx.

Holo 01-19-2004 03:22 PM

40% of precum is sperm. nuff said.

VitaminH 01-19-2004 03:25 PM

NO, it can't.

Wait, i mean YES it definitly can. ;)

World's King 01-19-2004 04:01 PM

I have a friend with four kids... all pre-come kids.

He insits he always pulled out way before her came... his wife will even admit that the most of the time he blows on her chest or in her mouth. Pre-come is just as bad a come
