I almost have to have music, it makes it so much better. as far as what to listen to, that all depends on the mood.
For making love: Mazzy Star, Portishead, Eric Clapton, Smashing Pumpkins;
fun sex: Sublime, Icey, Bloodhound Gang, Outkast, Timbaland;
Good old hard FUCK: Technical Itch, KMFDM, Lords of Acid, White Zombie, Dom and Roland, NIN.

We never usually play music, but romantic music can get us in the mood. We will play stuff like Kitaro, Enya, Kenny G or Engima during dinner. This just relaxes us and once we are relaxed is usually when it happens (since screaming at kids is not good foreplay :) )

I like music- The Mountain radio station plays cool music like DMB, Coldplay, David Gray, Pink Floyd....
I also like ambient or chill music- haven't listened to that stuff in a while but we should.

For me, it's all alike, mostly.

I like a nice lovely tune on the backgroune as long as it is not too distracting. The radio, therefor is totally out of the question, also because it's very likely that we would have to call a 'time-out' just to be able to listen to the news :eek: !

My bf is kindof into Japanese music... which is not my favourite really, for me it just sounds like a crazy girl squeeling with too much drums going along with it, so that's a bit of a no-no for me!
He, on his side, has already vetoed the Tindersticks as 'love-making music', don't really know why, I think because it scares him :p !

Music during sex is important, but make sure you've got enough space in the bedroom for the string quartet....

You dont need to pick out music sometimes, it can easily just turn into background noise.

It doesnt really bother me one way or the other. If Im making love to my fiance music is the last thing on my mind.
