Ok so you pop the cherry with someone who's had pleanty of sex before. Do you tell them it was your first time or do you keep it to yourself and hope you did alright ?

I say you wait until you've had sex a few more times, enough to figure that (s)he's enjoying it because (s)he keeps coming back, then tell them. Then ask them if there's anything you could do to be better, etc. but don't make a big deal of it.

Biggest thing is to stay cool. Don't get too emotional about it or (s)he might freak out.

I lost my virginity to a 15 year old who was very experienced. I had lied to her and told her I had done it a couple of times before. My performance indicated that I had in fact not had sex before. She didn't like the fact that I lied to her, but she was the type of girl who wouldn't have had sex unless I did have experience (kind of a Catch 22 for those who have read the book or seen the movie).

I would tend to agree there, but i think it would depend on the person(s) your with, if they are uncomfortable with it being "uncool" your or they are a virgin then you might want not to mention it :P

May not be the en vogue thing to do, but I believe that just being straight with people is a helluva lot easier than wondering which pieces of the truth to tell them.

Honesty is the best policy. If you don't tell them, they might be thinking one of two things: a) poor performer in bed, or b) it was your first time. Most people are awkward the first time around (unless you're a superstar like Paul Finch in American Pie). If you're honest, you can find out how the person thinks you did for your first time instead of hoping you did well.

Yep I could have worded it better, was pretty tired last night when I posted.
