I just had a disturbing dream, ugh..
I had a dream earlier this morning, where i initiated intercourse with my MOTHER?!?!? yea, its fucked up, and ive never even thought about this matter to that extent. in my dream though, there were 2 other attrictive girls, who were in the bed next to me. but for some reason my mother got in the bed with me, gross. then i put it in her butt, what the fuck. I didnt orgasm or anything, but still, it just doesn't seem right in my head.
Sorry if this disturbs anyone at all, but its been rackin my brain all morning, its pretty nasty when i think about it. Any advice or dream analysis would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have nothing to say to this.
There has to be some deeo underlying issue here that we probably should not go through over the Internet. My best advice... See a professional about it.

Perhaps there is some underlying shit that i should think about, but i can't really think about it at this point in time. Maybe it'll sort itself out. But in the mean time im gonna do what Meff said and just let it slide. Dreams don't really mean all that much, though admittedly, i do put alot of faith in them at times.
I don't think its a matter that needs professional help, it was just a really odd dream. Maybe i was taking the roll of my step-father in that dream or something, eww.

dont worry, your not crazy (well were all a bit), dreams are wierd, stranger things happen and they mean nothing. as long as you accept that you have no real control over your dreams, dont let it get to you.
you dont need proffesional help unless it is realy bugging you. it is nothing to worry about

It may seem disturbing, but like the others said, don't put too much merit in it. Since dreams are often influenced by things thought about or encountered during the day, yet the signals are fired off so randomly, it is not uncommon at all for the signals to get jumbled, i.e combining separate thoughts into one. The outputs of your dreams can also be influenced by noises you hear while sleeping, the stage of sleep you're in, etc.
It really wouldn't surprise me if more people had similar dreams, but the vast majority of dreams that we have are not remembered or vivid enough to recall. |

You dont need proffesional help...... its not that big a deal. Just a dream- not reality and it doesnt mean deep down you want to get with your mom. We cant control our dreams...or in your case nightmares.

To be honest, I wasn't at all shocked. It's not uncommon. If you're really truly disturbed by it, seek help, but I really think that's unnecessary.

oh wow, Freud would have a field day with this.
You want to marry your mom, or at least a girl like her. Very common, don't get so freaked out.

Isn't it oedipus complex or something?
Yeah I had a dream about me and my mom a long, long time ago. I shrugged, and it never came back. Maybe your mom represents a very nurturing person or something, I know my mom is like that w/ me and it made some sense when I thought about my dream. |

I sure wouldn't worry about it -- I doubt that it's that uncommon.
I believe Freud theorized that the Oedipus Complex was based in the unconscious -- so a man with such a complex would not dream directly about sex with his mother, but instead would experience dreams of more cryptic content resulting from the censoring of the complex. (ie. latent content converted to manifest content.) Of course, I don't take Freud seriously, and you probably shouldn't either. |

You are fine, when searching for that perfect women in our lives we often picture of mother. Us men seek women who have the sme qualities as our mother, and the ladies look for the same qualities ina man as the ones htier fathers have, it' s natural
However, the whole "anal" things, that's disturbing |

LOL!
Mate, a dream is a dream and that is it.. Unless that night that your mother had the same dream about you... therefore indicating the possibility that you met on the dreamscape and did some pretty nasty stuff apparently. Most dreams at just the subconcious filtering out the crap from the day. Some are goo.. some are bad.. Like everyone says... don't dwell on it

Yeah man, stuff like that will make you think crazy shit about youreself, but I'm with some of the others, I don't think its anything to worry about. Just try to forget it, like you do all other dreams.

You'll be fine. But you want a freaky dream? I dreamed that I was running through a parking ramp and it turned out I relived an entire sequence through Rumble In the Bronx starring Jackie Chan...I woke up when I fell from the truck with all the balls in it.

*sigh* everyone misinterperets Freud.
The Oedipus Complex is NOT sexual in nature. It is when the boy starts to notice a certain connection between the mother and the father, and realizes its something different between them, something tha the can never be a part of or hope to hold with the mother (vice versa for the girl). It's the emotional bond that the child notices that he/she's jealous of, not the sexual. Because 90% of Freud is about sex its easy to mistake this, and even some of my college professors still do. Dreams like this are nothing to worry about. The only thing dreams can show you is your stress level, the weirder the dream the more stressed you are. Dont worry about it, take time off whatever you're doing, relax, and just chill for a while. I'm a psych major, and did a number of studies so far on dreams and did LOTS of research. You're fine, if a tad stressed.

I think maby you mentaly looking for someone that is good to you, cares about you, i can really justify the dream if do not know your personal life. |
