Sexy accents and voices
 

Does anyone find any particular accent attractive?

Or on the flipside, any quite annoying?

For me, i don't know which parts of america, but some are quite attractive, whereas others, i think mainly texans/cowboys seem a little overbearing to me?
i guess i am mainly thinking the president there :p

i don't mean to offend anyone, i don't judge people on their accent, i was just thinking about this just know. I heard this canadian girl talking on tv and she was really good looking plus had a sexy voice so that's how i came up with this thread. For the most part, canadians have really cool accents as well.

Also, in Europe, like germany, france and holland. Although i guess i couldn't really tell most of them apart anyway?

I wonder how first impressions go on voices as well?
Like if a guy has a high voice he might be considered less mainly, or if a girl has a husky or deep voice she might be considered too manly.

Southern accents from the Georgia/South Carolina/East Tennessee area. I don't find them as attractive from Mississippi.

The Canadian accent is okay. I really like the uppercrust English accent, Australian, Parisian French, and Berlin German accents as well. I'm not very partial to the West Texas accent or the nasal northeast accent.

Norwegian is the sexiest in my mind; Like a soft and beautiful german. sigh

I've never heard someone say an American accent is sexy.
Now latin accents....rrrroooowwwwwrrrrrr.

Russian, Finnish, English, and Icelantic accents = hotttttt

A latin accent, wow! Southern accents, from like Georgia/Tennesse/S. Carolina.

A french accent is pretty cool too.

My man has a VERY deep voice and he is from Buffalo NY. I find his accent to be incredibly sex.

i love deep south american, canadian cockney, scouse... (well, all uk accents), all european (esp French).
i´m a total sucker for girls with africaan accents.

i find western sydney / outback aussie accents on girls to be a little too harsh.
and the Kiwi accent on girls is not sexy for me either.

well, i´m glad that you like Aussie accents, but Ocean Girl - i´m embarrassed that that show left our shores...

Southern, but not overly so.

Ive always thought that Norah Jones has a sexy voice. Definitely not Southern, but sexy nonetheless.

Okay, this isn't exactly about the sexual side of accents. But I have two friends that are dating- one is from Germany, and one is from California. The girl from Germany obviously doesn't speak English perfectly and she has a very strong accent. That doesn't affect their relationship, I don't think...

To me, if someone has an accent, I would rather be good friends with them. I think I would go insane with laughter if my Lover had an accent... Then again I wouldn't know.

I find girls with New Jersey/South Bronx accents a bit annoying...think Fran Drescher.

I find Spain Spanish much more attractive than Mexican Spanish. Italian is nice. Greek, no.

I hate white trash Southern but I lovvvvvve Mississippi Delta accents. Also, cajun girls have great accents, too.

I am dating a girl who is originally from Australia. I love the accent, but mostly because it is barely detectable she has lived in so many places. So when it comes out, it is subtle.

Subtle = Sexy

Kind of like a woman in sexy lingere versus fully nude. There is something much sexier about the woman in lingere.

Women speaking English with French or Irish accents. :)

Southern - I married a gal from TN. I don't like deep south, hick or W. Virginia - just nice, slight genteel southern twang.

Also, I really liked daisy fuentes back when... Then they must have made her take lessons and she came back for the last season of AFHV with NO ACCENT! I was crushed.

I like english french and german alright, and slight hint of asian accent is very sexy. Any thick accent can get pretty annoying, I hate asking people to repeat themselves a lot.

That said, Tibetans speak english the best. It's just so proper sounding... it's like it's how english is meant to be spoken. they pronounce everything so nicely and have the slightest accent so you know it's not their first language, I love it.

Oh that's quite embarrasing. It used to be on in the afternoon on channel 10 around 4pm weekdays or sometimes early on saturday morning. I only saw ot a few times, but that was a bad show, lol.

I knew a really cute russian girl who had that throaty soviet KGB spy bombshell voice. So sexy.
I met a South African girl last week, that's a new favorite of mine.

I love a guy with a tinge of a Southern accent. Bonus points if he calls me "darlin".

I used to LOVE Latin accents, but I had a bad experience with a Latin dude and they don't have quite the same appeal.

I think Italian is my favourite though...YUM. Makes me think, "Ho voglio di sesso!" (literally, "I have desire for sex")

I think italian accents sound beautiful. French and irish is nice too.

I like most accents..theyre pretty delish to me..
Though what I find kinda irky..is the texan accents..very harsh and rough to me. I had this phillipean guy try to ask me out one time, and when he talked to me, I literally had to ask him to repeat himself all the time...once I asked him 6 times what he said- i felt so bad, but his english sounded muddled.

For some reason, a light Russian, Czech, generically east-european accent of that approximate kind make me very happy. ;) And I apologize for anyone from (or in) that area who feels offended that I lumped all those wonderfully unique accents together. For me, I'm not around them enough to tell a difference... but if you (being a girl) and serveral other attractive Russian, Czech, and generically east-european girls want to come over and show me just how different all your native... tongues... are, i'll be much obliged, and eager to learn! ;)

Swedish, by far. maybe i'm biased though, the girl is from there...

i love the sound of the swedish language too, some of their words have exactly the same spelling, but are pronounced with two tones giving two different words! the tone is falling after the first part of the word and raising on the second half. if you say the word with one tone, it means something completely different and you have to look at context (when read) to see which word it refers to! (bizarre!) it gives the language a kind of sing-song sound. very sexy... :)

Southern accents are awesome! Also like the Eastern European accents as well. Aw, heck, I like 'em all if they're coming from a pretty lady!

For a while I had the total flaming hots for Fiona Richie, host of the NPR show "The Thistle and Shamrock".

It's been a while since I paid attention to accents, but I guess at some point I liked Latino, Finnish, and Russian at some point. Dead sexy. :)

Never really thought about eastern european accents until I watched the next Joe Millionaire, some of those seem pretty sexy too.

Australian accents are really sexy

RUSSIAN ACCENTS!!!!! My bf is from Russia and just him talking to me turns me on. He sounds so sexy and sophicaticated, makes me melt every time!

French girls are at the top of my list. Italian too. Hell just about any romance language makes me melt.

Southern Accent is hot, I really like a British or French accent as well.

Boston Accent's annoy me...at least from women, guy's dont bother me as much

As long as the girl doesnt have a deeper voice than me and I can understand what she says I am usually happy. However a really sweet british accent is particularly nice. I cant stand a southern drawl.
