For some reason I tend to very much like women with British accents. However, I had (and still have for a few lectures this semester) last year a female professor with a southern US accent and it drove me (and about 1/4 of the other guys in my class) wild. She was attractive, but by no means drop dead gorgeous or anything to make us this nuts. It was totally the accent.

Even though I've lived in Tennessee all my life, I don't like a woman's accent to be much more than a twang (which makes me a hypocrite, because I've got the southern sound going for me pretty good; I type alot smarter than I sound, trust me). As long as I can understand the lady, there's rarely a problem.
