Hairy legs and other guy hair issues
This isn't about pubic or genital hair, it's the set of hair elsewhere other than your head and genitals.
Anyhow, whats the general verdict on hair like on guy's chest legs etc I don't hvae any chest hair or hair on my back (thankfully ) but i do have relativly hairy legs. I quite like it that way, cause i seldom wear pants, although not literally just mainly shorts, and the hair on my legs help me keep warm. I don't really like pants, all that much, not sure why, too restrictive. I only usually wear them if i go out, like to a club or wahtever. Anyway, my friends, the other week, was suggesting on shaving his legs cause the chicks love it. He was suggesting i do the same, although i am quite apprehensive. I can't imagine my legs without m,uch hair. PLus they'd probably look really skinny (mainly just below my calf muscle) and out of proportion, lol, i think the hair makes them look bigger Anyway, any guys shave their legs, purely for the form? (ie not if you're a cyclist or swimmer and aerodynamics are associated) also i guess for anyone else, how do you feel about the whole hairy guy thing, with hair on chests, legs, chest, arms, back and so on? although i am mainly concerned with the legs? hmmm maybe i could jump higher and run faster with no hair..... |

hm...k, i'm a girl, but my bf shaves his legs. i love it.
and in general, my preferences are - back/chest hair/pubic - unappealing legs/arms/tiny bit on face(goatee or whatever) - ok i just like skin better than hair, i guess

Do not shave your legs!!!!
Never ever! Guys with shaved legs and arms and armpits etc scare me. Its just weird. Unless you're an Olympic swimmer or something leave your hair alone! I can understand wanting to get rid of chest or back hair, but sometimes I think thats taken to extreem. Guys, put down the razors and step away...

I'm a guy and I get picked on because I have really light hair on my legs. They look almost shaved. Doesn't bother me but others seem to think its funny.
I'm cool about hair either way, whether you got it or not. Just seems like a personal choice to me.

I actually wish I had slightly more hair on my legs. Mine's very fine, and very light, and I think it looks generally more masculine to have the thicker hair. However, as soon as I have the money to tattoo my legs, they'll be shaved or at least thinned out, just like my upper arms.
As for now, I'm rockin the hairy chest, but once I get in better shape, that may change, and the back I try to keep hairless, which is hard since I'm a bigger guy. But yeah, in moderation hair is cool. On guys that are super muscular, hair removal can look really good.

The only thing I shave is my pubic area. I haven't shaved my face in around 5-6 months, haven't had a haircut in 8 months. I'm starting to look like Jesus. My girlfriend doesn't complain, so I'm cool with it. I'm thinking about shaving my hair off (totally bald), and either trimming or getting rid of the beard all together.

If you start shaving yer legs. Be prepared to take on a chore that is a real hassel.
I for one do not shave past my inner thighs. But i do shave me whole pelvic area and my stomach and chest. I shave every other day. Just imagine you shaving yer legs? Damn that would be a whole lot of work. Plus if you dont have a tan. :< But if you must. To each his own. Make sure to use some womens shaving gel/cream.And then some moisterizer. Its the best. Women have all the right products. Ciao. forgive my sentence structure tonight. Its to late :< |

Next week I actually am supposed to start shaving my legs again for racing season.
Any ideas for what I should use at first? maybe some nair will get rid of it for the first run, and after that I can go razor easily. Besides that, though, the only thing I keep shaved clean is my face, because then its kissably soft |

I shaved my legs so I could wear fishnet stockings to a Rocky Horror Picture Show production. It took around three hours and a bag of razors.
I kept accidentally rubbing up against my own leg thinking it was my lady's. There are two problems with men shaving their legs: the thickness of men's hair makes stubbles much more visible and demands more maintenence than women's hair, and I had a disasterous case of in-grown hairs when I let the hair grow back in. My legs itched terribly for around two weeks then thankfully resided to mild itching for around two months. It was damn fun and attractive. Now that I'm past the point of consequence, I'm glad I did it, but those three months or so were rather hellish. |

My gf likes my hairly legs and chest, I say leave it until and gf says somthing, dont do it to pick up women, because some girls might not talk to you because of you lack of hair, girls have to expect it because we are guys, then if you get into a relationship, either surprise her, or ask what she would think about you shaving your bod, but my gf loves my hair because its makes me more "manly"

I have a little bit of hair between my tits...and a line of hair that starts just around my belly button and goes down.
My legs are hairy and my forarms have some hair on them too.... It bugs me sometimes...But i don't think i would shave it off or anything.

My gf told me if she wanted a little boy she'd date a late blooming teenager. I do use barber shears on my chest since the hair is very long and thick (I'm half Greek but look full) and I have to shave it every couple months or so with a 1/4" attachment. I'd like to wax my back but I never get to it and she doesn't seem to mind anyway. Anything I do is for her benefit anyway...I'm a man I'm supposed to be ugly

in my opinion, a gentleman should have a trim pubic region, and a hairless back and shoulders.
if he is a particularly hirsute man, then he may consider shaving his chest, so it doesn´t look like an Austin Powers rug. but, its my opinion that a gentleman should have arm and leg hair, and a good, masculine dose of hair on his chest. facial and head hair is up to him. but it should be complementary to his overall bone and body structure. i think a completely hairless man is similar to a hairless dog. odd.

i used to shave my legs more often than i do now. i used to do it for a few reasons, one being that it looks a lot nicer and allows leg definition to be seen more easily. secondly, this looked especially good in long basketball shorts and ankle length socks. finally, the girl i was with at the time found it attractive, so i had no reason not to. now that i no longer play basketball and am currently single, i just give it a trim once every 2 months just to keep it under control.

I have been shaving my legs about once a month since I was a sophomore in high school. I just didn't like the look of having massive amounts of hair covering my legs. It was pretty common at my high school, but once I got to college I got a few weird looks. Oh well.
I keep my arms in tact.

/me taps together a pair of wires hooked up to a car battery.
I would never, ever consider shaving my legs. Being of asian descent, I seem to also be part monkey from the waist down. That would be a good deal of work and a good deal of razor burn. Could you imagine rubbing up against your girl with legs you haven't shaved in a day or two? And she forgets as well? Might as well be rubbing two sheets of sandpaper together. Ouch.
