I was in a really awkward situation last night.. I met this gal, (on line) we went to dinner, things clicked, and next thing I knew she wanted to come over to my place.

Well long story short (no pun intended...) I could not get it up!! No matter what I did, or what she did, there was just no waking the lil guy. Needless to say I felt really bad, ashamed embarassed, you name it, I felt it.

So the question I pose to the masses is:

Ok I don't "think" I am impotent, I haven't gotten any in a while, and naturally not thinking I was gonna get any that night, I had a little personal fun a ferw times prior to the date earlier in the day. (Visions of "Something About Mary" danced in my head..)

In all seriousness, I was, and am very concerned. I will say that I masterbate quite a bit, mostly because I don't have a steady, but can that cause this situation? do I need to go get checked out? Is Viagra in my immediate future? Is there some herb that I should try? Or is it all in my head? This happen to anyone else here? What have you done to correct the problem?

I would not start worrying just yet. While this was a very embarassing situation, the earlier wanks of the day may have raised the required horny-ness level too high.

Were you tired? Was there alcohol in your blood? Were you nervous? Did the situation seem 'too odd'? Any of these things could have played a part in it.

Don't worry about it unless it happens more often.

Yea, I think all three were a factor. We had dinner and drinks, I was stressed out cause the house was a mess, (I didn't want her to think i was a total pig..) I had a serious jack session earlier.. So with that said I can see your point.. Maybe i was thinking about all of that too much and putting way too much pressure on the situation..

Silvy brings up some good points. Hope you gave her a consolation prize (read: oral sex) regardless of your lack of rigidity, because we all know you want her back for a second shot.

AHH yes, I definately worked the oral magic with her, several times and fortunately she is willing to give me a "second shot".. (or should I say "first shot..")

Uhhmm.. next time, try going slower and do more foreplay.. Sometimes when people can't get it up they're just going too fast and then the psychological stuff kicks in..

two words "cock ring". I use the regular "O" rings at the hardware store. End of the plumbing isle in the little bins. Experiment with different sizes to see which is best. They are somewhat flexible so you can get them off no matter what and I've never had any damage from them. I can be drunk, tired and used up and I can get it up and keep it up indefinitely with one of these pups.
