I was in Messaging a friend Here on TFP and a thought came to mind. I have a couple unconnected questions and I would really love input here. If you are uncomfortable to post it please email me....

How many people from here have met in real life?

How many people here have had sex on a first date, either talking on internet first or not...? If so how long did the relationship last?

I met one person once from an internet chat room. It was ok, I guess my expectations were a lil too high.

As to Sex on the first date. That can be great and it can be terrible. been there for both.

I've met so many folks that I first "met" on the `net that I can't really count. Jinya is one of them.

As for sex on the first date, my first date usually consists of either spending a week(end) with them or moving in outright.

My first girlfriend was the only woman I didn't get with like, the first night I was around them.

Edit: That's not true; I once went out on a blind date with a chick from Yahoo! Chat that I really wasn't interested in at all, and nothing came of that night.

Is this just about internet relationships? or blind date or soemthing?
cause i've never had one, only people i've known prior. I haven't sleep with anyone on a first date either.

Although, do one night stands count as sleeping on the first date?

Hell, I've never even been on a real "date"! Well, apparently I have, just didn't know it was a date at the time....

Anyway, I've never dated anyone I met online. I've met 2 guys that I knew online... And uhh.. slept with em both. A trend perhaps? Who knows. Anyway, those instances didn't happen on the first night, so I'm still pure

First date sex usually means the relationship won't last for me. I won't sleep with someone I have any real interest in on the first date. If the relationship is doomed, and they offer I was all over it.

A friend of mine got pregnant on her first date... Yup, that relationship didn't last. But her kid is great.

I have never had sex on the first date, and I can't imagine it working out too well. Maybe I am a little old fashioned, only a little, but I think sex is something you work up to. What do I know?

Well, I've never actually met someone in person that I met on the internet....... or had sex on a first date, but I can imagine that having a first date with someone that you've been talking to on the net......... divulging your intermost secrets to, wouldn't really be a first date...... because all of the things that would normally be brought up in conversation most likely have already been discussed, you would know way more about each other than anybody would on a first date.......... it would be more of a 'Ok I like this person, lets meet and see if we click' sort of date, Hell...... even having sex wouldn't be 'first date sex' because if you talked about what you like and what turns you on there wouldn't be any suprises........

But.... it's never happened to me so as Jazzman says, what do I know?

Never met anyone from TFP. Most of them live too far away for starters.

Usually have sex on the first or second date, second more often than first.
Once waited a whole month, which was a nightmare for me.

When I met my current girlfriend of four years (smashing the previous record of 6 months) she came home with me on the friday night, met my friends saturday day & night, stayed saturday night, met my mother sunday morning, went home sunday afternoon.

I wonder if she had stayed another night would we have somehow bumped into my father, and he lives in another country.

I've never met anyone that I "met" online. I can't imagine doing this. Why not just go out and meet actual people? Why waste your time "meeting" someone online. It seems silly and that it would take so much more time to try to acoomplish the normal "selections" that happen in person in seconds, automatically.

Sex on the first date? Theoritically, I don't think it matters. You either hit it offf and have a good relationship or you don't . whether you had sex on first date or not shouldn't really matter. Personally, I never did and had a relationship from it. FOr me I only had meaningful relationships if I became friends with the girl for a week or two first and then made the sex special and more anticipated and worthy by building up the suspense, etc. Also, if you care about the girl and want to not blow it, then you might want to hold off, in case making the move too fast will wreck your chances. Sex on the first date is fun, but the type of girl that does it is probably not too classy or mature and not likely for a real relationship or to take home and meet mom.

never had sex on the first date, that is a little trashy if you ask me.....but i am sure that my mind could be changed!
