It depends on the type and the person. I've worn glasses since I was 5. I got contacts about 3 years ago, and I finally got a new pair of glasses a few months back. People love them. I've gotten so many complements when I wear them.

My favorites...horn-rimmed glasses on a girl. So cute!!! My bf and I both switch back and forth from glasses to contacts, and it can be really refreshing to see him in glasses.

I have a friend who is absolutely obsessed with glasses. He hopes to build a time machine in order to go back and stop the invention of contacts.

Man, I love a woman in glasses! Maybe it's because I'm married to a "Girl with Glasses" but then I've always been attracted to women in glasses. I prefer glasses, but I think only because I have never worn contacts. Previously, I've had an objection to sticking stuff in my eye;but I am irked by the barrier of peripheral vision that you have with glasses. So will try contacts. I don't need them for walking around, just for reading and driving.

I love the look of them. There is something about the innocence it implies about the wearer and then find out they are a bit on the wild side. I hated wearing them however and ended up having my eyes lasered almost 3 years ago now.
