Prefered hair colour?
 

Most guys seem to prefer a certain colour on a girl, but does anyone think it effects any part of your attraction to them.

Myself, i rpefer brunettes or darker hair women. I don't think it affects my attraction that much, but just another preferance i guess.


Anyway, whats your favourite colour on the opposite or prefered sex?

I myself have strawberry blonde hair. Not orange ahhhhh. Don't know if there is a corelation or not between the 2???

My current girlfriend has olive skin and dark hair which I find really sexy. My last girlfriend had the blonde hair blue eye thing which was cool, but I like the olive skin better. Means she always has a brown bum! ;-)

I prefer asians, so black hair is what I like!

My girl is has blond hair. She tried a blond/red type color once and it looked pretty good on her, but blond is just fine.

In general though I don't have a preference. I want a girl to look good, hair color is only a part of that.

Light Brunettes. Dunno why, but I find them more attractive than blondes.

As long as there's something beautiful about the hair, it doesn't matter. All colors have their beautiful qualities.

I'm gonna go with blonde. A girls hair color makes little to no difference, but if i had to choose a hair color, i would choose blonde.

I really like brunettes, but my first serious girlfriend was a blonde, so it doesn't really matter. But you know the saying " Blondes get noticed but brunettes get remembered!"

I do like me some blondes but have never once dated one.

I always end up with dark brown or every other color of the rainbow... just not blonde.

There are some I prefer, but for the most part it doesn't matter. My wife has brown hair (which was usually at the bottom of my list of preferred color), and I love her just fine. In order of preference, it would be blonde, red, black, and brown. Different factors can affect this. Blondes with really tan skin turn me on. Black-haired girls with very pale skin also attract my attention. Ultimately the hair color only attracts my immediate attention but not my long-term.

I like nice hair... color doesn't matter. I like blondes. I like brunettes. I like red hair. I like black hair. I like green hair. I like pink hair... you get the point

I seem to key on a hair color when looking at girls. Usually its blonde, though sometimes i will have brunette phase. I've got a thing for redheads though, my mom says my grandfather was the same way. the only girls ive dated have had dirty blonde hair, and its good enough for me.

I've dated girls with all different colors of hair. Light brown, dark red, strawberry blonde, dark brown (black for a while because she dyed it), and right now the lucky lady has sandy blonde hair. So based on my experiences, hair color makes little difference to me.

Black hair with pale skin is my favorite.

I don't have any real preference, but I gotta say, crazy colors like pink, orange, green are really hot, both on guys and girls. As soon as I see someone with an alternative hair style, I'm into 'em. I really like short pixies on girls and mohawks on both.

I like brunettes myself...somethin about them thats just more appealing than blondes.

Depends on who I'm looking at. See colored hair I.E. Green or Red or whatever looks good to me only on certain people. Like I know for a fact not everyone can pull it off. But as far as natural...just something that looks natural. I would prefer if the girl can just look good after waking up or wearing a baseball cap or whatever.

aside from posting your favourite colour, i was also interested in if their was a correlation between your own natural coloured hair and the colour you prefer?

My preference is also what my own hair/skin combo is.

I'm mostly attracted to guys with brown hair. My ex-boyfriend had blond hair and blue eyes. Frankly, I wasn't really that attracted to him.

Give me a guy with nice brown hair and puppy dog brown eyes and I'll be in love.

I like dark hair best, brunettes in all their forms, but especially the very dark ones ;)

Red is my preference though my wife is dishwater blonde. Anything that's original color. No dye jobs please.

I've always loved the blonde, so I guess that's why I married one! Although, after 4 kids, her hair is getting a little darker now. She tends to dye it to keep it blonde.

The more and more I see women of all different ethnicities and hair color, if I were dating now, I think I'd have to go for a dark haired beauty. But hair is only part of the package, if they are hot, then what ever color their hair is only makes the package better. Does that even make sense? I'm having a rough week already.

Question here though,if a guy has a strong preference for a particular type,say for instance short,busty blondes,why don't they wait to meet a woman who matches their preference instead of hooking up with a woman of a totally different type and then subtly or not so subtly letting her know that she doesn't measure up?

You see i thought it'd be the other way around, well it is for me. Cause i have strawberry blonde/blonde (its inbetwen) hair and am attracted to brunettes mainly, so i thought there was a lighter darker thing going and hence maybe opposites attract (like in chemistry and opposite charges attracting each other).

You're definatly right about us having an (un)conscious attraction to people who we'd think would bear attractive children together with ourselves. Although i am not sure if there is a definitive correlation between the 2, as in opposites or likes...

I like just about every hair color on girls.

RED. That is all. But not natural red, dyed, bright red. Short hair too. If not red, the black, and hopefully shes a little rivethead and will have falls/extentions that are blue or red. Mmm :)

How does that happen? The closest I could think of is a guy making comments about who (eg celebrities) he finds attractive, and the girl noticing a correlation. If that's it, it doesn't mean anything.

These types of discussions give general preferences. There are so many little indescribable details about a person that make up their overall attractiveness. There's no mental checklist that we use to judge someone! Also, the most important details are the mental ones. A really fun, interesting girl will look knock-out gorgeous to anyone who knows her well enough, even if she looks average to strangers. Guys have a stereotype of being much more shallow than we actually are.
